The Lake knows me and I know her. I brought journal, coffee and pen. As soon as I saw it, my whole body relaxed. Pieces of me everywhere on the road, my words and laughter still hanging in the air, my footprints permanently embedded in the ground.
The Lake knows me and I know her.
I took a deep breath. My shoulders dropped with no coaxing. What do I need to know? I prayed and listened, and wrote.
The Lake knows me and I know her.
Pele our family Hibiscus plant is still tucked deeply underground, even though a long awaited and much needed Summer will soon reign.
I'd like to think the Lake knows her too.
I prayed for the upcoming Angel Earth Concert on Saturday I'm opening for, and for all that I wish and desire. I prayed that I may be the best I can be for those who need me.
I prayed to have my life full of many perfect moments just like this. I was deeply grateful and wrote hearts into my journal.
The Lake knows me and I know her.
