Oracle Card #1 Positive Change ~ Parvati
Paravati the Indian Goddess of Femininity guides us to balance strength with gentleness this week. Mercury went into retrograde on the 7th so the energy may feel super intense and much like riding a roller coaster...getting on and getting off. Some people don't feel this at all and some of you will. The more intuitive you are, the more you feel the planetary shifts like the moon affects the tides. Parvati's deeply feminine energy symbolizes feeling, being, receiving, openness and intuition. The more you open, the more sensitive and intuitive you may become. Her name means " she who is of the mountains". When things get harry this week, could you look down from a sweet perch of perspective? Even though the wheel spins and life turns, you can be safe on your mountaintop. It's going to be challenge. Find a still point.
Parvati represents creativity as the patroness of musicians, artists, poets, dancers etc. This is a highly creative and magical time reflecting the qualities of the current mercury in retrograde in the sign of emotional and watery Cancer. If they haven't done so already, people will be popping up from the past, including exes for an opportunity of resolution and integration to who you are today. This may trigger emotions. Don't worry it's for the releasing of it. Cry if you need to and let go. It's cleansing and healing.
Last week's theme of forgiveness and resolution continues. If long-standing unresolved issues come up, do what you can to resolve them for "you" to move on. If you don't know how, simply be willing. Declare, "I am willing to release_______ and move on." If you need help do not hesitate to reach out to me and schedule a session. Just be willing and set the wheel in motion as Parvati is sometimes called the great wheel of life. If you are stuck it's time to get the wheels moving again.
This highly intuitive time is the perfect energetic mix for giving attention to those creative desires still with you from the past, that have never left you alone. Have you shut down things you love to do? Do you tell yourself there isn't time, or you're too old or too busy to do that now? Following your passion will help ground your energy during this intense time. When I sing and perform I am completely in body. Being creative brings you totally to the moment. Follow what sends sparkles of delight through you, even if it is just chilling out, reading, laying around by the beach and out in nature. The current energy shows it's time to relax and play.
Oracle Card #2 Crystals ~ Epona
I love when cards like these pop up! You will feel a push to get things done and accomplish throughout the week. Balance downtime, especially out in nature as this card tells, with action. Bring things from the outside in this week including crystals, flowers plants, and rocks. The ancient art of Feng Shui suggests placing furniture, adding crystals and plants to certain areas of the home to bring fortune, well-being and happiness. Citrine crystals are good for the fame and abundance areas of your home. Rose quartz for your romance area, and clear quartz for the spiritual zone. You might feel as if things are moving so fast as the wheel turns. We are so hooked up and connected via computers and social media. This week you might feel like the hamster on a wheel. It's no accident that the "wheel" theme keeps coming up here. We are connected to through so many avenues that our brains are overloaded. Get back to "Spirit" to nature.
Epona the Goddess of horses, is typically seen surrounded by hounds, mares and baskets of fruit. She is the goddess of freedom, fertility, creativity and abundance. As you follow your creative urges, you are drawn to more possibilities. being out in nature nurtures artistic endeavors. Allow yourself to putter about, ponder, muse and wonder. Creative leanings can be things like cooking, decorating, and building. You are free to follow what you want to do as well as what you feel you have to do, and you'll feel a whole lot better when you do. The energy you need for pushing will be there, but it's time to pull back a bit.
Oracle Card #3 Take Charge of This Situation ~ Moses
Our last card shows Moses commanding the waters to part, echoing a Cancer mercury retrograde. What situation seems as if it has taken over? Where have you given your power away? Who have you let steel your time? Put the reigns back on the horse (Epona) and slow down a bit. Take a view from your mountaintop (Parvati) and see the big picture. Take a step back and consider if disruptive situation was happening to someone else, what advice would you give them. Take ten minutes. You can lead yourself out and get back your mojo by figuring out what you need as well.
It's also a week for adjusting your schedule for less rattle, more hum. Ask for help if you need it. Schedule vacation time and holo-holo's, the Hawaiian word for day trips. It's nice to be invited to outings, parties and events but you don't have to go. Learn to say "That's so nice of you! I'll get back to you after I've checked my schedule." or "There's lots going on I can't commit to anything right now but I'll let you know as soon as I can." Summertime brings lots of opportunities for outings and time and "innings", time for your soul.
