Happy International Woman's Day to you! The UN has declared International Women's Day 2014's theme to be "Inspiring Change". This international day began back in 1911 and celebrates the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. In some places it's considered a national holiday!
What do you wish for Women everywhere? Do you have a theme? I wish for their safety, freedom, and access to education for themselves and their children.
I honor the memory of my Mother today who passed in 2012, and all who have gone before me who fought for my freedom as women do with without violence, and the ones who will go after me.
I humbly and raucously honor the women in Rock and Roll who have gone before me and have paved my way!
