The prayer I say before doing an intuitive reading session for someone is "Dear God, angels, ascended masters and all manner of light beings, thank you for surrounding "______" (person getting the reading) and I with love and light. I ask that you continue to make me a perfect channel and that "_____" gets the information and healing that she needs at this time. Thank you." I often add ancestors or guides if I feel it is appropriate. Someone who has a strong Native American connection or family ties, usually has ancestors and people of that descent around them. It's beautiful how it all plays out in a session.
You can do this Star Spread for yourself, or for another person. Each of the cards placement in the star has a focus. Think of a certain situation you'd like information about and pull 6 cards. I'll be doing a hypothetical and brief intuitive reading example of what the cards mean, asking the question "what is coming up next for me".

Present Situation
You are unsure of what to do at this time and know that the answers are deep within you and they cannot be rushed. You may feel pushed by family members or life to make a decision but you do not want to make a choice that isn't aligned with your soul. Stay positive and dream-manifest what your deepest desires are. Believe it is possible no matter what.
Causes of Conflict & Struggles
Money and abundance are on their way to you but it is hard to believe that at this time being how "right now" looks. It's time to have faith. Look at all that you have now. In the room where you sit, there is so much that you already own. You also think you need money to get what you want. Get clear on how much you spend and your expenses. This is a strategic move.
You have already created so much for yourself...what's stopping you from creating what you want for yourself now? The Serena card says you will have the money you need and to live in the DESIRE of what you want not how this abundance will appear.
Changes Needed to Face Challenges
Ditch thoughts like "I would be in shape too if I had a personal trainer, or my life would be better if I hadn't gotten married", will keep you from moving forward and breaking through the obstacles. You already have an idea of what you want. Try it on for size. At this time you can deeply feel that grasping for the future, selling out or being competitive is not the way to go.
What do you think the possible changes you have been considering will bring you? More freedom. More time with your kids? More time to feel pampered and beautiful? It's time to literally digest and internalize NOW the feelings these changes would bring for you. Connect to you Inner-Guru. Live in the DESIRE. Soon your life will begin to reflect your desires. This is how you you will begin to break free!
Your Strengths
Your family is your ally and will ultimately support the new life being birthed in you if you ask for their help and support. If you are thinking of getting pregnant a new baby might be on the way or someone in the family is getting ready to have a baby. It's time to ask for help around the house. You are such great nurturer but it's time to turn the love onto yourself. Your children will learn that Mommy needs love and playtime too. They will grow up to take better care of themselves when they see you doing it for you.
What changes you can make for yourself right now. There are so many resources available to us now. As you embrace your power and finances you are changing the playing field, your energy and manifesting a new paradigm.
Other Challenges
This card is reminding you to look before you leap. Let your heart and soul guide you now. You have an idea of what you want and there a re a few paths you can see to take. Some of them might go together. But right now it's time to sit and stew and let your Spirit guide you. If you are thinking of moving or making any big changes pause even for a few days or weeks and let things play out a bit because the whole picture has not yet emerged.
Final Outcome
You will eventually come out on top and feeling confident! The open arms of this angel show strength and power but also openness. You are more relaxed and sure of yourself. The dark blue color around this angel shows a deeper connection to your spirituality and/or to feeling connected from within to what is important to you and what you want and now feel you deserve.
