Now we know that just two minutes daily of looking for the "good stuff" can change the playing field of life. Simple techniques like keeping a gratitude journal can help take away the "blues" or the "blahs". But maybe you aren't into keeping a looking for Mr. or Mrs. Good Stuff journal. Maybe your version of grateful goodness is walking your dogs or cooking dinner for your family.
Pleasure is an essential nutrient that you need, each and every day, to become and remain healthy. ~ Dr. Christiane Northrup, author of Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom
Anytime you do "stuff" that feels really good to you in a healthy way, you are feeding the sunshine within you...the goodies in your cells respond well to pleasurable experiences. A party of feelgood chemicals like dopamine and serotonin will show up. Christiane Northrup calls nitric oxide the "spark of life". It's released from high levels of
pleasure like sexual intimacy and by just thinking of yourself as sexy and vivacious. Stress cuts away at these feelgood chemicals and our health.
Do what makes you happy. Watch the sunrise or sunset. Spend quality time without cell phones or computer guests. You don't have to meditate or journal. I love too...but that's good stuff for me. Follow your bliss? Yes...look for the good-stuff. It can only make this week really good.
My 2016 Forecast is still mighty good and reduced till the end of January. Feel free to contact me about a session or book yours now before
the 31st.
Magical blessings of lots of Good Stuff!

I sit here as I write to you in view of these beautiful "Queen Berry" roses. I just had to share them. Their color is a deep magenta cherry red. Are they doing their magic on you yet? This is a color of the heart. Deep reds are related to our root chakra, our hearts and passions. It's time to say "Yes". This week I invite you to make a list of your deepest desires and passions. What do you really want for your life? What do you crave? What do you need? What do you not allow yourself to do or have?
Say "Yes" to what thrills you. Christiane Northrup writes in her latest book "Goddesses Never Age" which you absolutely must get that cultivating our pleasure is one of "the" healthiest things we can do for ourselves. Imagine the ripple effect for you and yours. In fact not that I am advocating smoking at all...but Christiane says that even behaviors that are probably not so good like smoking a pipe, done in the spirit of exquisite pleasure and not excess could keep one alive for years.
This week indulge yourself in saying "Yes". I invite you to write a list of wants and desires. Don't hold back. I absolutely love Mama Gena's practice of pimping up your space when you write your list. Break out the faux fur blankets. Put on music you like. Dress UP! Go sexy or go glammy but make it special. Write your list from a place of "YEAH" this is what I want! Be prepared to see what you deeply want for yourself show up in the world. Prepare for all manner of gifts, blessings and perks from the big "U" to come your way. What's on your "Yes" list?

I've been fascinated by how the power of our thoughts can change our cells, our biology. Inspiration from mentors and actual facts, help us internalize and to see that it is totally possible! My latest muses have been Ernestine Shepard the worlds oldest bodybuilder, and Christiane Northrup. I am in awe of Ernestine's spirit, her body and the way her skin glows. Check this Goddess out on this Prevention Magazine.
In Dr. Nothrup's new book Ageless Goddess, she writes about Dr. Ellen Langer's study of two groups of men. One group was taken back in time to the year 1959, the year of their youth for five days. From black and white TV's and music, to memorabilia. The other group did not imagine and place themselves back in that time, but simply reminisced about it.
Here is a quote from that New York Times article about the results. This is a must-read!
"They were suppler, showed greater manual dexterity and sat taller — just as Langer had guessed. Perhaps most improbable, their sight improved. Independent judges said they looked younger. The experimental subjects, Langer told me, had “put their mind in an earlier time,” and their bodies went along for the ride."
The point here is when you are feeling a bit achy, or forgetful its almost automatic to say or think I'm getting older. One of my clients said to me her mother had arthritis so that is why her shoulder hurt. She will have arthritis too. We got to work right away to clear that belief! We now know that aging is determined by our cells not genetics. The book, " The Biology of Belief" busted that theory out of the water. Watch Bruce Lipton's interview for more proof and youthful inspiration to quench your cells and enliven your mind.
The most important thing that sticks out for me with Ernestine and Catherine's work is the value of spirituality. Ernestine sings a beautiful inspirational song every morning on her walk. Christiane's 14 day Ageless Goddess program starts daily with an affirmation and prayer to the Divine Beloved. Our Spirit is ageless. It is the light that beams within us.
Our Connection to our Higher Power and our thoughts are what transform us inside and out! So let's continue together to tap in, power up and enjoy! It starts now...
Have a beautiful week!
