A watery Cancer New Moon brings in the potential for possibility and for lots of emotion. Cancer is ruled by the moon. The effects of this new moon stretch into the coming full moon. You may feel like being at home and nesting, and being close and intimate with your beloveds. Most of all, honor your emotional self-care needs at this time. The Goddess Mother energy coming with this moon phase is palpable. You may be "feeling the feels" as they say. It's a perfect time to get into the ocean and into the water in general. If you can't, take a sea salt bath.
☽ Divine Timing
A hand holds an ancient pen. New moons are when we cast our intentions. The ancient pen symbolizes possible procrastination in doing the ritual of manifestation. Maybe there were good intentions to *safely* light a candle and write our wishes and desires giving them to Spirit, but we didn't have or make the time. Perhaps the time is now, especially over the next three days to plant seeds.
Just because what you want hasn't happened yet does not mean it won't. We don't know the ways of the Spirit and how the balance and timing of everything ultimately will play out. We plant the seeds, water and provide sunshine. We tend and wait. Will the flowers look exactly like the ones in the picture, or how we picture them? Maybe. It could be they'll come out prettier and better than originally imagined.
The light sparkling from the pen symbolizes the magic available when we co-create with God/dess or however you recognize your High Power. The two dragonflies are a power animal totem hovering just above the pen. They are shape-shifters and guides through illusion. Representing transformation, on this new moon they will help us to redefine our intentions. Consider that what we have been wanting has not yet come to be, because we really didn't want it. The intention to make more money to spend time with loved ones and family brought more hours of work, instead of the original desire to feel connected to family and enjoy them.
☽ Ancestors
Be ready to shed emotion as thoughts of loved ones may surface, living and deceased. It is time to look at what we learned from the people that have passed on, and people here that have challenged us. Soulmates are not always the folks that rock your world and bed. They are most often the ones that teach us the greatest lessons about ourselves.
You have the opportunity to see the patterns these relationships activate. You have the power to turn the light on and change or stop the steps of the dance. Childhood issues may surface at this time as well. There is great clarity to be found within the tears. Unlike a new moon in an air sign like Aquarius that is motivated by thoughts and inspiration, emotions help us figure out how we feel to get to what we want. That is the effect of Cancer's energy. If you look into the eyes of a cancerian, they often look like they are crying.
Cancer holds onto the memories of loved ones. Their memories may surface, good and bad at this time. Know that when you do think of a loved one, it means they are near. Some people may feel a brush on their skin, or wind pass as if someone walked by or see their loved one in a dream just upon waking. Another way is smelling cigarette smoke when no one is smoking. This is called clairaulience, meaning clear-smelling. A letter coming in the mail addressed to them at your house when you are having a hard time is another way they visit us. My mother visits me this way often smoking and sending letters.

Welcome and embrace sensitivity and the need to nest and nurture yourself at this time. Tending to your own needs and energy helps you to be more of yourself for others. What does your heart say about your life at this time? Ask it what do I really need in my life right now? What am I missing? From that your new moon intentions will spring.

The blue butterflies represent the releasing of your intentions to Spirit. In celebration, not lack we send our goodies to the light. WE don't have to do it all by ourselves. Release the weight of the world off your shoulders. Co-create under the new moon with your Higher Power for your life. Pray you and your loved ones are surrounded in more love and light.
The pink and red blossoms of a beautiful goddess represent the power of love that lives in us. The power of seeing, feeling and being grateful now for all that we have. The blue butterflies represent the releasing of your intentions to Spirit. In celebration, not lack we send our goodies to the light. The right hand (masculine-action principle) of our goddess casts our wishes and desires to the sky, and the left (feminine-receiving principle) is ready to receive in her left hand. This is an auspicious sign of manifestation potential available.
