Genius is irreverent. It innovates and restructures. It explodes and erases conformist societal beliefs and existing paradigms. Both Leo and Aquarius are at 15°, the spiritual alchemist number. Make way for your inner freedom fighter, freak-flag flier, rebel and rebel feminine. Be ready to see things totally fresh and new. A future of your making is yours to create, as spiritual alchemists do. Take back your power in your own individual and creative way, in your neck of the woods. Be on the lookout for your soul tribe peeps. Come out of the closet. Express yourself authentically regardless of how it rolls with the rest of the world. I don't advise running naked down the street, but maybe at the nude beach, or around the house. Find an outlet for what you know you came here to do. Be courageous! ☽ Intuition
Selene is the Greek goddess of the moon. Her left shoulder, the feminine side is open to the water and a portal. The portal is eclipse energy opening like a vacuum. Will you dive in and listen for what your inner-knowing says? Or resist? Water represents emotion, intuition and receptivity. The gray, silvery and white colors reflect Aqua energy. Aquarius is thinking/mental energy. Originally, the waves of Aquarius meant two serpents. ♒  Serpents represent great wisdom and knowledge. That wisdom is running through you. You have access to it. 

August energy is very activated and it will need balance. Take time to be with yourself and your thoughts. Tempers may flare, yours included. Things may explode. The lunar eclipse that comes with Monday's full moon and the upcoming Leo New Moon/Solar Eclipse is powerful and destructive as we shall see later in this reading. There could be relationship breakdowns, break-ups and breakthroughs. You may have already experienced a taste of this. The energy is building. There is a no-turning-back kind of feeling, like I simply can't go on this way any longer. To find your way through these crisis points, take an inner journey, the journey of intuition. There is no need to thrash, or crash and burn, but with this energy you might want to, in an attempt to feel better, or shake off the angry vibes. Astrologers consider eclipses wildcards because they shake things up.

☽ Guardian Angel
Take care of yourself sweetly and gently. This card tells of ancestors ultimately with us, even after death. You may have found yourself saying, "My Mom wouldn't want me to live like this. My Grandmother would want me to be happy." This is an awakening full moon with a harmonizing vibe. Traveling from here through eclipse season could be a blessing in disguise. The job you've lost love and inspiration for, might just disappear. Your company may close down or merge with another, and you are being offered severance pay. Or you might be let go. Like I said earlier, relationship break-ups, including partnerships are possible now, or total re-commitment at a new level of mutual respect and understanding could happen as well. 

In full alignment of an aquarian sisterhood and brotherhood moon phase, angels represent unconditional love and service to the greater good of humanity. They also bring the message to observe our feelings and emotions, and the thoughts we have about them. Upsets and fights may trigger deep emotions that feel super intense, and hard to hold inside. You might combust or blow your top. I often say, anger has powerful information for you. Go inward. Let your body process the feeling. Your body knows. It can take you back to the root of that anger. Awareness of these tender and touched places brings healing light, and the clearing can begin. Witness the original root of intense and difficult feelings and emotions, especially repetitive and recurring ones. Detached aquarian energy will help you see better, so you can move towards and take care of yourself. 

If you've been thinking about your mother lately, the pink carnations are a sign that she is with you, if she has passed on. Have you felt her? Deceased loved ones leave signs and hints when they visit, like a rush of air next to you, but there is no breeze, or smelling their perfume. You might go into a store after having thought about them and see something that totally reminds you of them. Take this in cause it's real!


☽ Kali
Step right up. Don't be shy. Kali destroys the old so the new can enter. She has no fear and she comes to tell you that you can move through what stops you, and she will help you. This month is the perfect time. Calling on Kali is intense. She is the Hindu goddess of creation, preservation and destruction.This full moon lunar eclipse brings the urge to purge. If you have been feeling like a slave to your life and trapped, between now August 21st is pivotal. When you are really ready to cut ties and leave the past behind, call on Kali. Her energy is relentless and insatiable. She's not afraid to go to war. I can feel that!! If you need to be a warrior or warrioress, she will be there. But you must step out of her way and let her do her thing. If you are beyond ready for change, she's your force of nature, and when you call on her, know that transformation has been set into motion. I think twice before I call on Kali, cause she's not nice! She is the destroyer. But she means business and will get the job done. 

Floating in the stars, she is the symbol of the eclipse season happening now. Change is imminent, including leaders and those in power. I take a few pictures before I choose then one I'll use. In every one Kali was flooded with light. I knew this had meaning for the the huge shifts and transformations possible, and the ones happening for you, on your behalf that I was talking about earlier. Now is the time to pursue your life's passion. What you love to do serves the world. Aquarius and Leo energy together say to be true to yourself and to your gifts. You are your most precious and greatest resource. 


☽ Bast
The Egyptian goddess of pleasure, music, dance, healing and cats of course, is a little preview of what's to come in August. She represents the sun and Leo's 'living large' and 'being seen' energy. Check out the statue of her in the photo of my altar for the last oracle card reading, On the 21st a fiery Leo New Moon will blaze it's beautiful sunny light. The serpent on her head is another sign of the undeniable and strong inner wisdom we all have within...always. Time to reset, hire and fire! More to come!!

Capricorn Full Moon: Follow Your True North ~ July 8th/9th 2017 www.tatianascavnicky.com

Hold onto your hats! A pluto-powered full moon intensely pushes us to redefine what we need when it comes to our emotional needs, family and our roots. Relationship power struggles my erupt. He provides super transformational power for life-altering structures and goals, putting us on the path to our true north. This moon is also a call to pay homage to our fathers and teachers, here and gone, who have helped and guided us along the way. 

☽ Nature
Red poppies symbolize pluto's reign of death and renewal, and remembrance for mentors, fathers and father figures. The color red represents earth, and our connection to our roots and family, survival and security. Be sure to get out in nature this full moon. Get outside. Walk barefoot in the earth. Sit and feel her healing powers. Get grounded in what you need to feel rooted, literally and metaphorically. Maybe you just need some time now. Maybe you need to let go of a long standing conflict. If you've been betrayed or had issues of broken trust, know that this doesn't have to be part of your future.  

You might be questioning how you got "here". Life gets more and more fast-paced and technologically driven everyday. So much so, we can be completely unaware of how disconnected we are, in our heads and out-of-body. That's what being ungrounded means. It may feel like you've lost sight of where you thought you were headed, and what was important to you. Honor your need for quiet, even for a few minutes. Do nothing, or take a rest. Create space and time to figure things out, especially between now and the next new moon. 

The need for boundaries is highlighted now. How can we stay true to ourselves and still be connected to collective beliefs that we have chosen to live by from the past? We crave personal authenticity. Balance what you deeply need and what's culturally driving you. 

Get rid of what isn't alignment with who you are now. I had the urge to completely change my altar and I created a second one in my office. We are in the sign of Cancer which rules family and home. It's a good time to make some changes in your house. Update your wardrobe. You might feel the need to change your look.

☽ Gratitude
A beautiful card to appreciate and acknowledge those who mentor and guide you. Those still here and ones who have passed. Show gratitude. Feel it deep in your heart. Show love for your spiritual posse. This card is an intuitive sign to show reverence to ascended masters. They are spiritually enlightened people like Buddha, Jesus, Saint Germaine, Paramahansa Yogananda and White Eagle. People that have gone through spiritual transformations or initiations. This is a super masculine full moon, but there are feminine ascended masters to show gratitude for as well. Of course! Thank your spiritual posse for all they do for you. Receiving their guidance can bring feelings of deep peace and safety. 

Capricorn is the Father of the zodiac. It's a good time to let your Dad know how much he means to you. But Father issues may be rearing their gnarly heads. Need to have a talk with your Dad? Now is a good time. Get clear on how you feel and what you need to say ahead of time. If your Dad has passed, you can write a letter and safely burn it. We redo father issues in our love relationships. Your feelings will show you important info why you have chosen certain people to partner with. If Dad neglected you, or was gone a lot, you may choose unavailable men or partners. If he was ill, or an alcoholic and you took care of him, you might take care of others and not take care of yourself. Wow this is a big full moon!


☽ Rhiannon
Time to grow up and into ourselves. Following your true north means following your inner compass. Keep what is authentic to you, but get rid of shit that keeps you spinning. It's grown up to choose not think a certain way anymore. Your deeply held beliefs are up for review and in question. You may decide that going to a church is not feeding you spiritually anymore and you long for something deeper. Big changes in our beliefs are in the queue. You are involved in your destiny my dear. 

Drama can only keep you from your true north. Try to avoid arguments and detach. Cut ties or the time you spend with drama-driven people. Emotions will be strong and intense for the next few weeks or so, because we are in the sign of Cancer and from the aspects of this Full Moon. Let things play out and settle before doing anything. But do connect within to how you are feeling, and why something bothers you. Especially the deep stuff. Sit with it a bit. Emotions will be strong and intense for the next few weeks or so, because we are in the sign of Cancer and from the aspects of this Full Moon. Transformation is not pretty. It's not an instant makeover. Just keep at it, and soon you will look behind you and see how much you've been shifting all along. 

I had my first official performance in two years last night. I've been singing professionally since the age of 15, (I said I was 18). I haven't been able to sing for two years because of health issues. I shared a deeply personal post about this here. It's dated May 7th. If you are going through a health crisis, it might give you some hope and I would love that. I couldn't breathe the morning of the show. I had prepared and rehearsed, but still felt this huge heaviness in my throat and chest. I couldn't meditate so I just laid down and gave in. I tuned into the feeling and where it was in my body. I started to cry. I asked where is this coming from? Yes. It was about getting back and if I would be ok physically onstage. But as I dug deeper, I found it was more so about not having anyone as a young child to talk to when I was scared. My Mom took me to a recital once. I would play the piano for hours practicing after dinner. I took lessons for years. I was terrified to play all by myself in front of an audience. I needed her to to help me relax. To tell me I played well, and I would do great no matter what, and she would be listening. There was no talking. Just a super quiet car ride. Nothing to calm my fears. I was too young to know how to support myself. I realized in the now, today...what was going on. I was nervous yes, but I wasn't terrified. I just kept talking to myself like a loving and super-supportive parent. It also helped that so many people that I loved and adored were at the performance, and they cheered me on. 

Capricorn is aligned celestially with the sea-goat, but is related to the mountain goat who climbs up the steep side of the mountain, step by step, till it reaches its destination. Take it slow, think it out. Set long-term goals and ones that really matter in the grand scheme. Be authentic and stay true to yourself and what is precious to you. Cancer New Moon ☽❍☾ July 4th 2016 www.tatianascavnicky.com

A watery Cancer New Moon brings in the potential for possibility and for lots of emotion. Cancer is ruled by the moon. The effects of this new moon stretch into the coming full moon. You may feel like being at home and nesting, and being close and intimate with your beloveds. Most of all, honor your emotional self-care needs at this time. The Goddess Mother energy coming with this moon phase is palpable. You may be "feeling the feels" as they say. It's a perfect time to get into the ocean and into the water in general. If you can't, take a sea salt bath.


☽ Divine Timing
A hand holds an ancient pen. New moons are when we cast our intentions. The ancient pen symbolizes possible procrastination in doing the ritual of manifestation. Maybe there were good intentions to *safely* light a candle and write our wishes and desires giving them to Spirit, but we didn't have or make the time. Perhaps the time is now, especially over the next three days to plant seeds.

Just because what you want hasn't happened yet does not mean it won't. We don't know the ways of the Spirit and how the balance and timing of everything ultimately will play out. We plant the seeds, water and provide sunshine. We tend and wait. Will the flowers look exactly like the ones in the picture, or how we picture them? Maybe. It could be they'll come out prettier and better than originally imagined. 


The light sparkling from the pen symbolizes the magic available when we co-create with God/dess or however you recognize your High Power. The two dragonflies are a power animal totem hovering just above the pen. They are shape-shifters and guides through illusion. Representing transformation, on this new moon they will help us to redefine our intentions. Consider that what we have been wanting has not yet come to be, because we really didn't want it. The intention to make more money to spend time with loved ones and family brought more hours of work, instead of the original desire to feel connected to family and enjoy them. 


☽ Ancestors
Be ready to shed emotion as thoughts of loved ones may surface, living and deceased. It is time to look at what we learned from the people that have passed on, and people here that have challenged us. Soulmates are not always the folks that rock your world and bed. They are most often the ones that teach us the greatest lessons about ourselves. 

You have the opportunity to see the patterns these relationships activate. You have the power to turn the light on and change or stop the steps of the dance. Childhood issues may surface at this time as well. There is great clarity to be found within the tears. Unlike a new moon in an air sign like Aquarius that is motivated by thoughts and inspiration, emotions help us figure out how we feel to get to what we want. That is the effect of Cancer's energy. If you look into the eyes of a cancerian, they often look like they are crying.  

Cancer holds onto the memories of loved ones. Their memories may surface, good and bad at this time. Know that when you do think of a loved one, it means they are near. Some people may feel a brush on their skin, or wind pass as if someone walked by or see their loved one in a dream just upon waking. Another way is smelling cigarette smoke when no one is smoking. This is called clairaulience, meaning clear-smelling. A letter coming in the mail addressed to them at your house when you are having a hard time is another way they visit us. My mother visits me this way often smoking and sending letters.

Welcome and embrace sensitivity and the need to nest and nurture yourself at this time. Tending to your own needs and energy helps you to be more of yourself for others. What does your heart say about your life at this time? Ask it what do I really need in my life right now? What am I missing? From that your new moon intentions will spring. 


☽ Celebration
The blue butterflies represent the releasing of your intentions to Spirit. In celebration, not lack we send our goodies to the light. WE don't have to do it all by ourselves. Release the weight of the world off your shoulders. Co-create under the new moon with your Higher Power for your life. Pray you and your loved ones are surrounded in more love and light. 

The pink and red blossoms of a beautiful goddess represent the power of love that lives in us. The power of seeing, feeling and being grateful now for all that we have. The blue butterflies represent the releasing of your intentions to Spirit. In celebration, not lack we send our goodies to the light. The right hand (masculine-action principle) of our goddess casts our wishes and desires to the sky, and the left (feminine-receiving principle) is ready to receive in her left hand. This is an auspicious sign of manifestation potential available.

There is magic in everyday. There is beauty so arresting in a sunrise and a sunset. This wonder is mine everyday. This enchantment is ours. The moments at dinner with family and friends. So many loved ones not here to be in, to see and touch feel this beauty. Perhaps they can see it from afar like angels do. But they can't really take it in like we can. Maybe as we revel at the day's beginnings, endings and even unravelings, we can bring it to them and ever more richly to us. How lucky we are...
