☽ Artemis
Artemis, goddess of the hunt and the moon, and protector of children, was sometimes called the virgin. She was a lone huntress perfectly able to care for herself. She was a bad-ass. In "The Great Cosmic Mother: Rediscovering the Religion of the Earth" by Monica Sjoo & Barbara Moor, they reveal the original meaning of the word virgin, which meant to be an unmarried woman, not belonging to a man and sexually independent. She was "one-in-herself". Moon priestesses were called virgins. The word virgin itself comes from its latin root, meaning force, strength and skill, and was associated with sexual independence, not sexual chastity. 

Artemis shows the intense work you've done on yourself. You've fought to become whole. You've been driven to grow and it's no easy task sometimes. This card says "good job!". You've done a lot of work! You've gained inner-power from seeing clearly what can tear you down inside and what could tear others down. This Scorpio Full Moon is pushing that cleanse. Perfectionism can have a high-octave edge in business but not-so-much in relationships. Scorpio is a passionate and sexual sign ruling the sacral chakra of creativity, passion and sexuality. If you don't feel like you are shedding your skin, a scorpionic event, you might still be going through the cycle of death, rebirth and transcendence. Things about you might be unrecognizable to your past self. 

She says to not worry. It's time to release the blocks related to your life purpose, your wealth and your joy. If you don't have a gratitude journal, start one right away. Create a success strategy. What you do everyday is where the gold is. This card says great things are on their way. Open your hands and let go. Follow your passion. 


☽ Butterfly Maiden
Hopi goddess Butterfly Maiden symbols are spring flowers, fertility and rebirth. Her presence is perfectly in sync for this oracle card reading. Butterflies another one of her symbols, represent metamorphosis. Did you know a caterpillar completely dissolves before it becomes a great and beautiful butterfly? What is it that you really want let go of now? Even if you think you can't, or have no idea how you could? Full moons are for releasing. Pregnant with magic this new moon-black moon rises on the night before All Hallows Eve, Samhain. A lightness but deep spiritual clarity can shine now on what we truly want to leave in 2016. In numerology Scorpio is connected to number 9 and 2016 is a number 9 year of completion, making this a supernatural portal of strong energy to delete and reboot yourself. A consciousness upgrade.  

What are you completing? It's a wickedly good symbolic time to connect deeply with your heart and it's deepest desires, and the belief in their unfolding. Be aware of your heightened intuition now. A Scorpio Full Moon calls for strong and deep grounding Goddess energy, as we feel pushed to the edge. Be aware of discomfort and mood swings. The moon has already begun her releasing. Three days before and after, we have access to Sister Moon's influence. Scorpio is not afraid to touch, live and swim shadowy depths. The subconscious origins of our feelings could rub us raw, and rub others the wrong way. The good news is you can come clean, and shed that old skin right off. 


☽ White Tara ~ Sensitivity
Be prepared to feel sensitive like a prickly pear. You are sweet and spiky. Tough and weak. Rich and rough. Arguments may erupt in important personal relationships. Issues at work might be working you and your last nerve. However now is not the time to react. That last nerve is the toughest one you have. Sit with big decisions right now. Let things be. Scorpio New Moon ☽❍☾ Beauty In The Breakdown ~ November 11th 2015 www.tatianascavnicky.com

A flock of birds flew, gathering at my window as I asked and prayed for guidance for this new moon oracle card reading. A few hundred landed eating, circling and singing. Thank you Mother Nature for this auspicious and magical sign. Birds are a sign of magical power and manifestation. The funny thing about these birds was I couldn't figure out what kind they were, or where they came from. 

I chose one of my favorite decks fitting for this especially transformative and powerful new moon. It's moody and layered. New Moons are for new beginnings but this one dives deep into the nether depths of our psyches.

You may have felt this coming. Melancholy, moodiness and mood swings were a sign of a great opening. Do not deny your shadow. Welcome the parts of you that you judge to not be good. Set a place at your table for the part of you that swims in the watery emotional and murky depths of emotion. You have grown into yourself from the hardest and most difficult times to be an amazing "You".


☽ Celebration
The three butterflies represent three Scorpio animal signs. Scorpion, eagle & phoenix. Butterflies symbolize complete and total metamorphosis. The scorpion is the sacred mystery of healing reachable from your deepest wounds. This Scorpion is our darker emotions like rage and jealousy. The saying we are never mad for the reason we think we are mad works here. 

The Eagle takes flight. Still a fierce hunter but begins to see the bigger picture of emotions and power struggles. The phoenix is the fire needed for transformation. Tangle and turn with your deepest emotions now. Explore your insecurities. Being jealous is really wanting what someone else has for yourself. Fear grounds you from flying free. We invited the feelings we so want to push down into our hearts and communed with them. Set a beautiful table for the parts of you that you are not proud of. Honor her too, because she was scared, lonely and lost. Have compassion for her. A lovely being lays on the ground with butterfly wings, metamorphosized. The light is this New Moon's transformational magic. You have walked the deepest depths so you can truly feel the healing light.

★Taurus Full Moon ~ Love, Triple Goddess & The Gold of Having It All Oracle Card Reading October 27th 2015 ★

Welcome to our 6th Super moon of 2015 and third one in a row. This earthy sensual moon will magnify full moon energy in Taurus, ruling what we love and value and in Scorpio, ruling what others love and value...your loved ones. What do I want? And what do others around me want? We also ask ourselves what am I protecting myself from in love? 


Guinevere is a Celtic triple Goddess who embodies maiden, mother & crone aspects. Guinevere is goddess of love, earth maiden goddess, and faery goddess. Her name means white shadow. Perfect for the combination available here for us to shed hidden and fearful issues around getting love and giving it. Scorpio is about death and rebirth, but lovely and sensual Taurus breathes love taking this moon up and out of Pluto's (ruled by Scorpio) black gnarly and intense depths. 

Queen Guinevere's Maying by John Collier (1900)

This moon is called the Hunter's Moon. Guinevere is sometimes called the female version of Gywn Ap Nuad, God of the hunt and otherworldly King. I LOVE when the cards reveal all these perfect intricate mystically intuitive threads. 


☽ Guinevere ~ Maiden
She asks us to look at how far away we have become from who we were when we very young. What do we need at this time to reconnect to giving to ourselves in that way...to being in that energy...in that spirit? What were we passionate and crazy about? Who and what madly inspired us? Music. Authors. Teachers. Hobbies. Passions. Books. Subjects. Guinevere's maiden aspect is about beginnings. What seeds can we plant now to reawaken the creative and maiden within that still lives, breathes and has her being in us? What can you do creatively that you love now? It doesn't have to be exactly what you did then, it is quite possibly a new and better way. Just play and satisfy your self with what you loved to do.

The moon calls for balance between what we love, need and desire, and what those around us need. How can we love deeply and fully, and still take great care of ourselves? What do you need right now for you that you've been putting off for the sake of others, or because it may make you look selfish. Guinevere owned the land that King Arthur wanted. She was a Lady of Court and ruled in her land. Our sensuous and lovely Taurus moon says do something luxurious for yourself. Wrap yourself in lovely fabrics, get a long massage or go on a trip with your honey or girlfriends. 



☽ Guinevere ~ Crone
This aspect says we can have it all and include a deeper spiritual activism. We can find a way to weave what we need and deeply value with others. We can give to the world as well. We can pray. We can donate money to charities, volunteer and teach that giving is a spiritual act aligning us to the infinite Greater Good. We know from experience hat we need to do. We can keep our own wise counsel and ask for it from others too, not afraid to appear bad for needing help. We can find a way to weave what we need and deeply value with others.

The Crone also cares less and less what others think about what she does. She's been on the planet for so long and seen so much, aware of the life's rhythm. She's ridden the twists and turns of life. There is web that she is part of and can influence.  

The crone teaches that beauty, desire and passion are still within us in later years. We embody all these aspects at once. If you are feeling undesirable or not-so-sexy...do something to bring that part back up and running. Think Sophia Loren or Tina Turner. That woman that you know who is a lot older but appears to be otherworldly young, having had no crazy plastic surgery is the triple aspect of the Goddess fully on and embodied. Emotions are surfacing. Old dirty not-so-pretty behaviors are coming out to play says Scorpio. Things you thought you'd never say again come right out of your mouth. And part of you doesn't care cause you are sick and tired of playing nice. This Full Moon is all about Restoration + Regeneration = Power. It hits in grounded, earthy and sensuous Taurus causing us to look at what our key values are. The truth of what we really need and want deep down. What makes us secure? What gives us comfort. Time to get out of our own way. 


☽Adventure
Our lovely diva rides a butterfly. Butterflies mean transformation and metamorphosis in so many cultures. You've been riding the flow of your dreams and ideas. You are more aware of what you bring to the table, and what you are willing to offer. You've gotten rid of so much stuff, literally and figuratively. You cleaned some of your closets if not all of them. You've taken classes and read books. You are expanding.
