Scorpio rules magic, rebirth and spirituality. Scorpios themselves are loyal, mysterious, strong, passionate and ambitious. This moon phase is of the toxic clearing, soul-level kind. ☽ Artemis
Artemis, goddess of the hunt and the moon, and protector of children, was sometimes called the virgin. She was a lone huntress perfectly able to care for herself. She was a bad-ass. In "The Great Cosmic Mother: Rediscovering the Religion of the Earth" by Monica Sjoo & Barbara Moor, they reveal the original meaning of the word virgin, which meant to be an unmarried woman, not belonging to a man and sexually independent. She was "one-in-herself". Moon priestesses were called virgins. The word virgin itself comes from its latin root, meaning force, strength and skill, and was associated with sexual independence, not sexual chastity. 

Artemis shows the intense work you've done on yourself. You've fought to become whole. You've been driven to grow and it's no easy task sometimes. This card says "good job!". You've done a lot of work! You've gained inner-power from seeing clearly what can tear you down inside and what could tear others down. This Scorpio Full Moon is pushing that cleanse. Perfectionism can have a high-octave edge in business but not-so-much in relationships. If you are an emotional person, your compassion can be a great healer, especially when you are a coach or therapist, but could make keeping boundaries difficult. As I often say we are human and divine. We have needs and desires, and the need to be intimately close with our beloveds. Scorpio is a passionate and sexual sign ruling the sacral chakra of creativity, passion and sexuality. If you don't feel like you are shedding your skin, a scorpionic event, you might still be going through the cycle of death, rebirth and transcendence. You might still be trying to find your authenticity in the underworld of change. This lunar phase paves the way for all that wants to be shed. It's metamorphosis at soul level depths. The way is clear now. This card shows where you are right now in the present. Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth, beauty, affluence and life purpose. Go for the gold now. I love silver and feel it's connected to the goddess and the moon, but I want gold too. I've never felt like wearing gold. This is what I mean about this moon. Things about you might be unrecognizable to your past self. 

She says to not worry. It's time to release the blocks related to your life purpose, your wealth and your joy. If you don't have a gratitude journal, start one right away. Create a success strategy. What you do everyday is where the gold is. This card says great things are on their way. Open your hands and let go. Follow your passion. 


☽ Butterfly Maiden
Hopi goddess Butterfly Maiden symbols are spring flowers, fertility and rebirth. Her presence is perfectly in sync for this oracle card reading. Butterflies another one of her symbols, represent metamorphosis. Did you know a caterpillar completely dissolves before it becomes a great and beautiful butterfly? What is it that you really want let go of now? Even if you think you can't, or have no idea how you could? Full moons are for releasing. Season Of The Witch ★ Dreams & Magic: Scorpio New Moon ~ Black Moon www.tatianascavnicky.com

IN the shadow is where we find the way back to the light, so that it may burn like the light of a thousand suns. Pregnant with magic this new moon-black moon rises on the night before All Hallows Eve, Samhain. A lightness but deep spiritual clarity can shine now on what we truly want to leave in 2016. In numerology Scorpio is connected to number 9 and 2016 is a number 9 year of completion, making this a supernatural portal of strong energy to delete and reboot yourself. A consciousness upgrade.  

What are you completing? It's a wickedly good symbolic time to connect deeply with your heart and it's deepest desires, and the belief in their unfolding. Be aware of your heightened intuition now. This time of the year the veil is thin, an extremely psychic time. Expect to easily be able to connect to your loved ones who have passed onto the other side and your spirit ancestors. Weekly Mantra ~ I Am Not What's Happening To Me www.tatianascavnicky.com

It's easy to get caught up in the drama of life and the issues that surface, as life does. I think it's human nature. We lean on ourselves and what we think we should do, or not do about something. We toil and turn over things we can't change in the blink of any eye, or a turn of the wrist. Saying you're sorry can take a while to reach someone. A lifetime of smaller surface ripples to the tidal wave sized events like saying goodbye, losing your job and getting sick will alter the course of a life. 


It's a supernatural feat for a Virgo Sun (everything is fixable) - Gemini Rising (let me count the many ways this can be done and executed) - Aquarius Moon (the world is fixable) to step back and let things be. I am learning. Yet I think I know the world. I know most things that I am really twisted over, do ask something from me. My spirituality has taught me I cannot know the deeper mystery of how and why things happen, so I need to get myself out of the way so the supernatural can do it's thing. 


I also need to get that I can give my twistedness, my frustration and stress over to my Higher Power.  What do you call yours? I call mine God♡Goddess. 


Spirituality says relying on ourselves, means we are not relying on our Higher Power. I used to have a really hard time with that. Did that mean not doing or saying anything? God will handle your business. God will magically have the perfect company that makes CD covers call me at home. Relying on your Higher Power sounded lazy to me. Who's going to handle things? What needs to be said or done, and where do I start? How can I just let go of the pain or frustration of a fight with a family member? Or the ending of a very special friendship?  Emotionally, letting go means I don't care or I am not invested or I am lazy. I need to do something and often that something is ruminating; worrying and thinking about it over and over.


The image above is from my latest trip to Kona. I borrowed my chair borrowed from a friend for my stay and brought it to Honaunau, the City of Refuge. I went there to release and have a coming to G♡G moment. I needed to take refuge in the dead white coral sand and stones, many of them the shape of hearts. Under an unforgettable tree at the waters edge, in the place where all can be forgiven and forgotten, I surrendered to the most challenging and difficult three years of my life.


I developed anxiety on stage, the place I feel the most safe and in my bliss, and had to take time off from performing. That felt like it was happening to me. Moving, starting over, my Mother dying, who I did not have a good relationship with, and the Flood in 2014 which ruined my basement and most of AngelEarth Studio just happened. And on some level the anxiety as much as I think I created it, happened to. I didn't ask for that. 



The Big Island was G♡G calling me to take refuge and yield to all that had happened. I asked for a new beginning, still raw and nervous to sing and emotionally in between crises. I simply could not start over by myself. I could not push it, make it happen, turn back time or turn it forward, so I asked for help.


We are not what's happening to us. If you are going through something really hard right now, I hope you have found a safe haven and place to rest in these words and in this mantra. We belong to something greater and we can take shelter in knowing that. May you feel it down to the marrow of your bones.
