Scorpio rules magic, rebirth and spirituality. Scorpios themselves are loyal, mysterious, strong, passionate and ambitious. This moon phase is of the toxic clearing, soul-level kind. The serpent, eagle and ultimately the phoenix, rise up from the aches of our dark and stormy discontents and character traits. Negative experiences from the past can get made into good medicine. ☽ Artemis
Artemis, goddess of the hunt and the moon, and protector of children, was sometimes called the virgin. She was a lone huntress perfectly able to care for herself. She was a bad-ass. In "The Great Cosmic Mother: Rediscovering the Religion of the Earth" by Monica Sjoo & Barbara Moor, they reveal the original meaning of the word virgin, which meant to be an unmarried woman, not belonging to a man and sexually independent. She was "one-in-herself". Moon priestesses were called virgins. The word virgin itself comes from its latin root, meaning force, strength and skill, and was associated with sexual independence, not sexual chastity. 

Artemis shows the intense work you've done on yourself. You've fought to become whole. You've been driven to grow and it's no easy task sometimes. This card says "good job!". You've done a lot of work! You've gained inner-power from seeing clearly what can tear you down inside and what could tear others down. This Scorpio Full Moon is pushing that cleanse. Perfectionism can have a high-octave edge in business but not-so-much in relationships. If you are an emotional person, your compassion can be a great healer, especially when you are a coach or therapist, but could make keeping boundaries difficult. Self-care isn't selfish, it's essential.

As I often say we are human and divine. We have needs and desires, and the need to be intimately close with our beloveds. Scorpio is a passionate and sexual sign ruling the sacral chakra of creativity, passion and sexuality. If you don't feel like you are shedding your skin, a scorpionic event, you might still be going through the cycle of death, rebirth and transcendence. You might still be trying to find your authenticity in the underworld of change. This lunar phase paves the way for all that wants to be shed. It's metamorphosis at soul level depths. Up your self-devotion. Feed your desires as well as your responsibilities.   

☽ Lakshmi ~ Bright Future
The way is clear now. This card shows where you are right now in the present. Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth, beauty, affluence and life purpose. Go for the gold now. I love silver and feel it's connected to the goddess and the moon, but I want gold too. I've never felt like wearing gold. This is what I mean about this moon. Things about you might be unrecognizable to your past self. 

She says to not worry. It's time to release the blocks related to your life purpose, your wealth and your joy. If you don't have a gratitude journal, start one right away. Create a success strategy. What you do everyday is where the gold is. This card says great things are on their way. Open your hands and let go. Follow your passion. 


☽ Butterfly Maiden
Hopi goddess Butterfly Maiden symbols are spring flowers, fertility and rebirth. Her presence is perfectly in sync for this oracle card reading. Butterflies another one of her symbols, represent metamorphosis. Did you know a caterpillar completely dissolves before it becomes a great and beautiful butterfly? What is it that you really want let go of now? Even if you think you can't, or have no idea how you could? Full moons are for releasing. Because of the deep soul-level clearing that is available, you can heal from toxic emotions and long-standing resentments. Full moons are for forgiveness. If jealousy and resentment have got their claws in you, you can move on. You can at least begin now. Compete with yourself and forget everything else.

IN the shadow is where we find the way back to the light, so that it may burn like the light of a thousand suns. Pregnant with magic this new moon-black moon rises on the night before All Hallows Eve, Samhain. A lightness but deep spiritual clarity can shine now on what we truly want to leave in 2016. In numerology Scorpio is connected to number 9 and 2016 is a number 9 year of completion, making this a supernatural portal of strong energy to delete and reboot yourself. A consciousness upgrade.  

What are you completing? It's a wickedly good symbolic time to connect deeply with your heart and it's deepest desires, and the belief in their unfolding. Be aware of your heightened intuition now. This time of the year the veil is thin, an extremely psychic time. Expect to easily be able to connect to your loved ones who have passed onto the other side and your spirit ancestors. Sea-goddess Yemanya dives into deep and mysterious waters. Where have your dreams taken you? Will you believe in your dreams again? Your Weekly Mantra ~ I Am Radiant www.tatianascavnicky.com

I pulled this one out of the archives because Spring is here and it is the perfect time to change it up. I shared some great rituals for starting fresh and feeling brand new in my Spring Equinox Reading. Check that out here. This week I invite you to connect to the radiant spirit inside you. "I Am" is the ultimate statement of declaration. Repeating a mantra over and over calls forth what we declare and influences our mental programming. Chanting your mantra is yet another great way to call forth your state of being.

If you like this weeks mantra, make it your very own personal mantra or create your own. Close your eyes for a moment and think about what you want to change in your life. If you have been a bit down, this weeks mantra would be perfect. I don't want to worry becomes, "All is well." I don't have enough time becomes "I have time for what is truly important."

Spring Equinox 2016: Happy Spring! www.tatianascavnicky.com

You'll be blazing at the start of Spring. In the year of the Monkey, fire and action shake up the status quo. The beginning of this year came in sleepy and soft, but now we are in renovation mode. It may feel like hyper-drive alternating with overwhelm, or wavering between chill-axing, and feeling like it's time to do something, but you don't know what to do. 

Spring gives us the cosmic push to enter the season. If you have been asking for more, it will be given. 

I can't tell you how crazy it seems on the roads right now. People are driving fast and recklessly, driven to get to their destination without thinking about how their speeding and weaving affects other drivers. The last week or so, I have felt like I was being reprogrammed and needed lots of rest.

Time to ground yourself. When you feel overwhelmed or spacey, feel your feet on the ground. Focus on your intentions for Spring. Bring them to voice...speak them out loud. The throat is the center of "I AM". Stating I AM happy and grateful, or I AM healthy and prosperous causes electromagnetic matter to form, from your words, causing things to happen. Declare what you want. Whether lighthearted over a dinner toast, or during a full on Spring ritual, speak it. 


☽ Two of Swords
In the context of this reading this card symbolizes navigating opposites. Life is not all rainbows, ice cream and unicorns. There is earthly stuff that needs to be dealt with. This is also about inhabiting our bodies, even when things are crazy. 

Things may have felt so challenging, escapism wasn't an option. Truth came calling. Time to choose. Spring can help you make moves. Doing a ritual literally moves energy. Prayer and intention are powerful agents of change and manifestation. Between the last Virgo full moon and the recent epic Pisces new moon + super moon + eclipse, it seems the world is magically super charged and racing. Many are seeing themselves in a whole new paradigm....but not sure how to make the switch. 

The message to ground and connect to Mother Earth is very strong. Picture someone standing serenely and powerfully, amidst whirling cycles of energy, dust, earthly matter, and storms. A hurricane of incoming possibilities is available. Don't drink the Kool-aid. Come back to yourself and ground. Make your own potion.  



☽ Page of Wands
New exciting opportunities are on the way. Be confident in your abilities. Lean into your higher power, and your own strength. The page also embodies the fire energy alive now. Watch for impulsiveness and recklessness. Observe and take in information during important business and personal conversations. Courage and charisma is charming, but what is your big picture? Where are you headed? Where do you want to go, even if you prefer to wander, rather than run?

You may have decided to pull back and nurture yourself this Spring, and play more. This card symbolizes getting back to your innocence, and looking at life with new eyes. The new paradigm energy feeling relates here too. Look at yourself through new eyes. See the treasure in your beloveds and all that you have. Ritual actions for the Spring Equinox 

* Go through your closets. Throw away old clothes. Give them away, or donate them. If you haven't worn something in two or three years, it's time to say bye!

*Paint a room in your house, or change out a room by using completely new accessories like pillows, artwork, and paintings. 

*Clean your house. Cleaning is an ancient form of clearing energy and bringing in the new. If you don't want to, hire someone. After cleaning, safely light candles and incense. Sage if you can. Play music and open the windows. Dance in your intentions for Spring. Sing out loud. You can move energy. 

*Get naked and look into a mirror. Being naked is good. It's freeing. We are more beautiful in the skin we were born in. Tell yourself how beautiful you are, and that you are worthy of all you want and more. Blow kisses. Promise to be good to yourself. 

*Clean out your refrigerator.

*Plant seeds for your garden.

*Make a list of things you want to do with your family, and your honey.

*It's the perfect time to renovate your house. If renovation isn't what you have in mind, change it up by redecorating and cleaning up. Get rid of junk and clutter.

On January 20th for the first time in 10 years Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter & Saturn are cosmically aligned in the night sky until February 20th. An opportunity to reset and renew is upon us again. The energy of January so far has been one more of yin energy...of turning in, tuning in and perhaps hibernating or wanting to hibernate. You may have felt tired or cranky. 2016 is a number 9 year of Radiance, True Awareness & Completion. This full moon sheds introspective light + gives you room to roar! In 2016 the parts of you that are not serving your highest cosmic alignment are there to be understood, seen, valued for how they may have protected or served you so they may be ultimately released. Toast yourself and CELEBRATE! You are majestic!


☽ Ancestors
Curious card I thought to myself when I pulled this. As the divining unfolds it's meaning becomes clear. Ancestral patterns (the past) are coming up to be released. The root of stuff, the baggage you don't want to carry anymore from the past. The past that keeps coming up in the here and now. The relationship pattern on repeat. The feelings from possible trauma, abuse or beliefs from childhood can be recoded is the word they want me to use. Also this recoding and releasing and ultimately forgiving changes karmic patterns....changes history, related to relationship dynamics and ancestral family patterns. If one person in a family decides they will not treat their daughters differently than their sons, this breaks the patterns. Children that are allowed to become totally themselves without their parents turning them into little versions of themselves change ancestry and ultimately DNA. Our history as a people is encoded in us. This is deep. It is a time for soul searching to transcend the past. 

Mars In Scorpio gives the energy for intense situations and feelings for a natural and organic release. The war isn't out there its within. What deeply angers you or makes you jealous has something to teach.


☽ Listening
A red-headed winged goddess symbolizes lovely and proud Leo. Her sideways contemplative gaze reflects a deep inner listening to what stands in the way to all the glitters...all her glory...all that roars within to be expressed. Having the courage to come out and be seen and heard. In what ways have you been hiding your true self, your true heart and your true talents? You came here to be you...not someone else's version of you or what you think is expected of you. She is winged and getting ready to take flight. The white flowers and fog represent the turning in of Winter. By the end of Spring and into early Summer expect the future you are creating from this new beginning in 2016 to materialize. 

The small sparrow like birds here represent the element of air...our thoughts. Which ones empower you? Which ones will you leave behind? Sparrow asks where have you dethroned yourself? Are you truly loving yourself?  Do a full moon ritual. Practicing a ritual such as burning a letter you never mean to send safely. Writing all your feelings down and burning them takes the charge out of thought patterns that have become beliefs overtime. Eventually these reoccurring issues, patterns and beliefs that show up can be healed. 

For instance, if people you don't trust ultimately keep showing up, it's time to look deeper into the original wound. Your issues of trust have a root in the past. Or perhaps you don't trust in yourself or your decisions. It is the time to see the root, dig it up and be rid of it. 


☽ Experiments
How beautiful is our shadow as well as our light. How precious are the tragedies and triumphs that have shaped us. How deeply we are touched witnessing true vulnerability in others. The essence of this card is the vulnerability within ourselves. We are cruel to ourselves if we try to shape-shift into what we are not...into what others, society or out-dated ideas seem to be. Our society is changing. Spirituality and topics like meditation and intuition are now part of the conversation. Transgender and Transsexual people are part of our human-divine family. Love is at the root. 

The Sun in Leo sits across from Aquarius, the sign of a collective family and using our creativity and gifts for the greater good. We awake to the connection between all life forms, within our human family and animal family. We know we must fight back and buy organic and non-genetically modified food. We must protect the code...our DNA. We must make conscious choices in the food we ultimately buy and eat, for the greater good.


This card also asks where have you intentionally dimmed your light...your life force? What behaviors do you still practice that do not honor you? The ones you really want to stop because they make you feel bad. You can change. It doesn't matter about yesterday or what you may have done in the past, because of these behaviors. Everyone does things they are not proud of. We do the best we can. If we could've done better we would have. 

The Leo lion has great pride. What can you do to be proud again?  Gush over and brag about yourself. Bragging isn't a bad thing. Thinking you are better than everyone is a not-so-good thing. Ultimately someone will come along that is better than you at something. But you are still awesome! We could use huge milligram doses of healthy self-esteem. Boys and girls, especially our little girls, need to be able to feel proud and be strong, so they can speak up for themselves when they are older.

What are you good at? Your creativity is your fire...your passion! What stops you from writing, painting, taking photos, knitting, decorating, teaching, traveling, practicing martial arts or a form of exercise you love? What's your thing...now go do it. Creativity is God~Goddess in action.
