I feel so expansive and wide open under a Sagittarius full moon. I felt it pulling me open last night sitting under the oaks on a perfectly stellar late evening, when the shade looks like color over the emerald green grass, and the sun is still high. This is a visionary moon phase. Can you feel it? One to let go in and trip ahead to realms of possibility. Jupiter the planet of fortunate blessings is coming back online after going retrograde in February. Ever-renewable inspiration and self-mastery to create the future shoots stars down from the sky.
☽ Patience
This card tells of the past and the realizations of life, how things stop and start and how they sometimes turn out better than we hoped, and not as we hoped. She represents the paradox of the planetary earth experience of being spiritual and Divine. We are superheroes and heroines and yet sometimes we feel like we can't do a damn thing right! You may have your head down, and to the grindstone as of late, trying to make sense of it all and digest. But you've done it with a sense of grace and wisdom.
The good news is, Sagittarius brings freedom and innovation. He rules travel, higher learning and quests, philosophy, religion and human rights. There has got to be another way and there is. If you have been feeling lost, direction to navigate your course for the future is at hand. Sag is the archer. Where would you like to take aim? Where have you given up and lost your faith? Be compassionate of feeling vulnerability and know that at the same time, something wonderful this way comes. La Luna shall light the way. You can open your eyes.
☽ Adventure
A true and perfect card for a Sagittarius Full Moon! Many have the travel bug now. Make plans to see places you have always wanted to visit. Discovery and exploration are on the menu. Might be time to change up your routine if you can't get away just yet, or leave for a small spell, a day trip or overnight jaunt. Feed the fire of excitement. There is a feeling of expansion in the heart for new places, ways of living and what is true or not true anymore. Rebellious and innovative forces inspire us to restructure our lives and try new things. We may want to get a little crazy and go overboard. Some people have just had it! They've gone by the rules of what they've been told to believe and are fed up. If that is how you are feeling, that is good, because you are making your own rules. Self-government is important on so many levels now. The word sovereignty comes to mind.
Fire sign Sagittarius might make you do impulsive things out of this frustration. You might want to make big moves. Celebrate and be energized for the future and let this full moon do it's releasing work. Come full circle with what's just not working for you anymore. Father Time, Saturn is helping us to develop our inner-authority. You can take your time, and create a new plan. Follow inner-guidance to change up your morning routine and daily schedule.
☽ Discernment
Sag wants to know the meaning of life and enjoy it at the same time. Three geishas represent the famous saying, "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". Sagittarius leans forward, ready to release it's bow. Its ruled by Jupiter, the planet of growth, plenty, optimism, luck and blessings. Hang out there now, in the field of possibility. What brings you confidence and makes you stand taller?
Life purpose is another key theme for this full moon. We are being called to higher meaning and truth of things...and our own "truth". Why am I here? What did I come to do? How can I work that in with enjoyment and excitement? Be ready for flashes of creative insight and intuition. It's time to project yourself and your gifts out into the world. Shine!
Jupiter also represents understanding through knowledge. What big lessons have you learned over the last 2 years? The Japanese proverb "Three Wise Monkeys" shown on our last card can also mean taking a look at what you have turned a blind eye to and where you may have been irresponsible or reckless. Hang in there. You'll never get it all done so make room in your to-do list for fun and new things to pursue. When you are doing what you love and spending time those you enjoy and love, it makes it all so much better and worthwhile!
☽ Celeste
A name whose roots mean heavenly, or of the stars. An extra card of good portent for new beginnings. Look to the stars for all that is new, fresh and full of life.
It's a perfect moon for moonlit dancing, dinners with friends and bonfires. Make a list of things you want to leave behind and **safely** throw into the flames. We'll be cranking the Led Zeppelin songs here by the fire in my neck of the woods and going to see friends who are playing this weekend. I'll let you know if we see the season's first fireflies.

There are those days when it is easy to love life. A coming Spring, or trip to a wanted destination. A wanted newborn child welcomed to the world. A satisfied and fulfilled feeling of accomplishment, after a long road of getting your degree or finishing your book. Yes those times are magical and daydreams are real. Sometimes this haze of wonder lasts into days. Now and then we sit at the edge, waiting and hoping to lure it in, or perhaps crossover.
I was inspired to write this week's mantra sitting under the soon-to-be Summer sun. Birds singing as if their song was for me, and I do believe it was, as I read "Bird By Bird: Some Instructions On Writing and Life" by Anne Lamott. Life is swallowed up whole and easy like brownies and chocolate cake on days like these. The very next day, perhaps moments later...a devastating phone call changes everything. Fearful thoughts of impending doom invite themselves into our minds. How can life be this good? Surely the ax is about to fall.
Anne Lamott said "My mind is a neighborhood I try not to go into alone." Our thoughts inform so much of who we are, whether we believe in ourselves, or the process of life. They can change us to the core for the good and for the not-so-good. They can take us down roads where we get lost for years at a time, and they can bring us back to all that we love, need and cherish.
If you are lost right now, know that you can, and will come back. We have in our DNA the Divine code. We forget. Looking for all the ways your life is a gift, will set your feet on the road of hope again. Leaning into faith, and your spirituality during times like these, will get you through. Soon there will be something to revel in and celebrate. You'll eat it up, savoring it like homemade brownies and chocolate cake, and it will last and lift you up with joy.
Magical Blessings

Hello and welcome back! I hope your weekend was Divine. Our mantra this week is to follow what makes you come Alive. From the simplest things like morning's first sip of coffee or tea and rays from the sun, going to that yoga or spin class (if your doctor has given you the green light) to spending more time with your peeps or loved ones. If you need freedom take off by yourself for awhile. Maybe a day trip is in order or a total vacation.
I've taken to reading at night again on my new Kindle Fire. I never thought I'd be a Kindle girl but I have so many books. I am obsessed with all books written by Alice Hoffman, the author and magical story teller of "Practical Magic". I'm finishing up "The Probable Future". And I'm adding books about the moon and Goddess magic to my home library.
Follow what lights you up this week. Until we meet again...

Sometimes we just don't know where we are going and may feel totally lost. It's so easy to struggle and freak out when you can't see the forest for the trees. Stepping back with grace and vulnerability gives space for responding, and for Divining. What is Divining? Leaning on Spirit. Leaning into your spiritual practice. Pulling oracle cards, praying, waiting and watching for the way to be clear.
Emotionally we can get pulled down by sadness if we keep running from discomfort. Realms of poetry, books, songs and art have been made from this very discontent. Bleeding hearts touch us so that our own troubled hearts can rise up again. Discomfort may just be your biggest ally. Your heart and soul urging you to look more deeply. Follow the smaller signs and keep to the road you are on right now...self-care is super key in times like these.
What to do:
*Have compassion. Don't beat yourself up. Treat yourself like you would a friend. You will find your way.
*Have things to look forward to like spending time with your peeps.
*Schedule self-care essentials like massage and facials.
*Movie Night!
Watch your favorite movies back to back or TV series. Get munchies & furry blankets. Turn the lights down.
*If you are drawn to a book, course or class...have at it!
*Clear out clutter
This one is huge! If you have been reading my blog, you know how magical and transformative I believe getting rid of crap is. Getting rid of crap is getting rid of your crap. If you are all organized, get your house deep cleaned or clean it yourself. Do something you have been putting off. it will make you feel "confident" in the midst of vulnerability.
*Schedule an intuitive session
Getting confirmation of your current issues and feelings is a huge comfort during a dark night of the soul. Knowing the bigger picture, seeing how the pieces could eventually fit together eases anxiety and brings hope to a troubled mind.
Confidence and vulnerability can exist side by side. The depth of our biggest fears mirror the greatest love and strength of which we are capable of.
I am here for you...
Have an amazing week gorgeous!

As you go about your week my dears keep your eye out for all manner of hidden blessings, unexpected gifts and evidence of kindness. We get what we look for.
Keep your composure if things get intense and bless the circumstances. Declare your challenges to be gifts in disguise and bless everyone who is concerned. This doesn't mean to be a doormat. It means to create an opening within for resolution.
Often we condemn and judge when we feel hurt or victimized, adding fuel to fire. Blessing troubling circumstances brings in space for change.
Be a lover and giver of kindness. Do a good deed. Pay for the person's coffee behind you at the drive-thru or send a card to a friend.
Let the Universe know this week you are ready for unexpected gifts and blessings. You will be amazed at what shows up. let me know what happens!
Blessings for a beautiful week!

I feel as if I have been on a quest my whole life. Something bigger than me that is in me, but outside of me too has always guided my life. It whispered to me at 5 years old. Follow me. I have a plan for you. They say if you are trying to find your life purpose, go back to when you were a child and think about what you wanted to be when you grew up.
I wanted to be a teacher and do music. At 5 I could already harmonize as the big "U" set me up with an accomplished musician, romance & germanic language professor and band leader. I wrote songs at a very young age and poured over the bible. I loved the energy of it. Realms of pages and words forever. I could feel a presence in it. Later I bought spiritual texts like the Tibetan Book of the Dead mostly because I wanted it with me. I browsed the pages and loved the book. I needed to have it with me and it's vibe.
I strongly feel that those of us searching for something better and brighter for ourselves, others and our lives are indeed lightening up. And those that are not are getting more dense and farther away from their light. As you pray, and move towards your heart's desires, meditate and become more spiritually conscious you may feel ungrounded and foggy.
You may feel like your choices are changing and your energy needs protection and attention. Your energy is your resource. Don't give it away constantly without powering up.
It's time to get back to what your deepest and purest desires are for your life. This is one of "the" most important things you can do to bring back your energy, joy, love and enthusiasm. Think about when you are around someone who has a total zest for life. Their peace and joy is intoxicating and contagious. it makes me think of Meg Ryan's scene in "Harry Met Sally" where she fakes and orgasm. The woman in the next row says to her waitress, "I'll have what she's having. "
Your joy is your magic. Your childhood as functional or dysfunctional as they can be is the birthplace of yours. What you came here to do, and the sheer pleasure of what you came here to do is your magic.
I adore this quote from the beautiful Yogi Jagat. "As a teacher all you can give is your practice. That's really all you are giving is a transmission of your own practice." Sharing and serving your gifts fules your practice and your practice fuels your gifts. We must also care for, nurture and feed the vessel (us) that houses our God-given talents. Share, serve and protect your gifts. Honor and value it. It is how you serve others. Protect your body when you need rest. Meditate yourself back to lovely and free. You are a precious resource. You are awesome!! Never forget it!
I hope you love and look forward to your weekly mantras. If you'd like these delivered directly to you join me here.
Lots of LOVE
