Harvest Full Moon In Aries: Be Fierce & Believe in Yourself ~ Oct. 5th 2017 www.tatianascavnicky.com

I just had to use this image because it reminds of the iconic movie Practical Magic...my favorite movie! Called the Blood Moon, Witches Moon or Harvest Moon, this lumination carries us into a magical season. Whether free-falling into high color and the hopes of Spring in the Southern Hemisphere, or flying the broom into Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere, magic is afoot! 

Breakdowns bring breakthroughs. And there very well may be some on the way. This Aries Full Moon is all about  passionate intensity, freedom, innovation and profound emotional release. Get ready to give birth. The babe of the zodiac is impulsive and brand new, but full of life and sees possibility everywhere. Innovation is in the eye of the beholder, and Aries' visionary force flies high and holy-hot above the rest. Ramming down the past, caring nothing for how things should be, but for how they can be. Or, how Aries wants them to be.  

☽ Release
Full moons are for releasing. The cards reveal synchronicity once again!! A full moon hangs low and heavy, milking the earth with light. "You will release", it seems to say and "I will make sure of it." Her headdress of antlers are not horns, but they sure do echo the charge of Aries. Clothes barely on, the image says throw caution to the wind and go for it, to the nth degree. It doesn't matter for all is forever changing. Through the fire we walk. Through the fire we are cleansed and purified. Through the fire we cut our teeth, sharpen our skills and grow mighty. 

Tempers will flare. Potential for arguments and saying way too much is likely. Careful not to have to take back something cruel and insensitive said in a fit of anger and hurt. We want to express ourselves and let our feelings be known. You might feel mysteriously compelled to say what you've been holding in. It could come out fast and furious. You might want to check and see where the anger is coming from. 

Since the Leo New Moon Total Solar Eclipse there has been acceleration of how quickly we can manifest, but also how quickly we can burn out. You may have felt like you are burning the candle at both ends...but your candles have long long wicks, and never ending wax. 

You might feel restless and overwhelmed for the next few ways and not know for sure why. A feeling like you have to tend to things and get them done. And then the flip side, entering into a new paradigm of I can't control and manage everything. Give into letting go. That is a powerful choice too.

☽ Adventure
Our minds will feel as if they are on fire during this phase. Aries is irreverent and reckless. The first sign and baby of the zodiac gives birth to new ideas, concepts and dreams, paying no mind to how things have been. Adventuresome Aries embodies freedom and innovation. They are the mavericks of the zodiac, creating something amazing from nothing. 

It sure has felt like we are on the move with feverish intensity since August's cosmic eclipse, aware of all that has to change in the world, aware that the change is within. I don't know about you, but it's been super hard to be peaceful right now and just hang loose. It's more like we are hanging hot and ready to launch. I have heard of so many of my people just crazily-committed to moving forward, no matter what it takes. It feels very much like a new moon because we want a fresh start, and we want it fast. There is no perfectionism to this full moon. Invent first. Details and shifts later. Don't let perfectionism stand in the way of what you want to do. If this is a block for you. I see you moving forward and doing what you love, and checking things off your list. I can help you with that. 

Are you feeling an energy surge? You may feel it's time to really start pursuing your passions and creativity, related to your life purpose and mission, or simply what really turns you on. Relationships get this surge as well. Accepting others points of view goes a long way under this illumination. Tone can be triggering. Choose your words wisely. If you have been accused of bad tone as I have (not in my singing of course) this could be one of those things you want to release under this full moon. 

Can we accept the fire in others and in ourselves?  Can we use it to not burn up, and channel it to burn brightly what we are creatively bringing into the world? This is the perfect time to start a project and begin! Whether it's an idea that's been simmering, that won't leave you alone, or a brand new venture. You can do it! 



☽ Oya
If you feel like a desert tumbleweed blowing in the wind, try to settle down and take a few deep breaths. Oct. 5th's Harvest Moon which usually happens in September, marks the beginning of a new cycle. We cannot deny how intricately we are connected to these cycles of beginnings and endings. Oya is the most powerful of the African goddesses. She rules the weather: tornadoes, lightning, rain storms and fire. She is also associated with the Celtic Fire goddess named the Catholic Saint Brigit. Her color is wine, perfectly fitting for the season. Her sacred number is 9. The number 9 is the number of endings, and endings are always new beginnings. I can't help but feel her presence here reflects the natural disasters and turmoil alive on the planet. The circles remind me of hurricanes. 

She comes to tell that change is inevitable. Harvest and take note of what you accomplished so far for the year. Look at the goals you accomplished and the things you are proud of. You know what's good for you. Yes you do. Refine and let go of the things you thought you wanted. Leave them behind with the full moon. Decide what you will let go of that isn't in alignment with you, or healthy for you and even those around you. The circles in Oya's card symbolize the things we will put our energy and time into, and what we should ultimately leave behind. So if you have been burning the candle at both ends, and feel pulled and stretched too thin, I hope you take some time to nurture yourself. I can relate to how you are feeling. On the one hand we are happy and grateful to be juggling things near and dear to us, and on the other we need to lay back sometimes. One of my most important intentions is being more settled. We are in the sign of Libra right now astrologically so balance is possible. Even 30 minutes, or a 15 minute pause can do wonders.

Oya also rules resolving conflicts with grace and charm, and feminine leadership we so need right now. I feel us calling this in. Harness this Harvest Full Moon energy for yourself. It's powerfully charged for releasing, forgiving and starting over. Full moons are for forgiving, which means you let it go for your sake, rather than carry resentment and pain. It doesn't make it right or ok, especially if someone has really done a number on you and hurt you. It's wonderful if they have apologized and turned over a new leaf so to speak. If they have not, refuse to be the bearer of that heavy weight and f'n move on! Yes you will still hurt sometimes. A movie will touch a sensitive thread, or something someone says stirs an echo from your past. But my dear remember... your beautiful eyes show the great depth and beauty from all that you have been through until now. They reflect the story of your soul. And I can see you shining all the way over here...

Virgo energy rules your daily routines, especially in the areas of health, well-being and personal transformation. New Moons are "always" new beginnings, and that is such a beautiful thing! Time to clean up toxicity. Cleanse and purify body, mind and spirit. Purge and clean out house and home. Use this Virgo energy to recreate, reinvent and restore yourself. She makes it easy. ☽ Kindred Spirits
Two lovely geishas hold hands underneath a beautiful blue-green butterfly. This is a healing color. There is huge potential for healing for this moon phase, at many levels. Butterflies are a universal symbol of transformation and freedom. Virgo rules health, healing, well-being and personal transformation. Virgo is healer, priestess, counselor, fixer, queen of details, and witch. Virgo is ruled by Mercury making them "the" writers of the zodiac as well. Their minds are a superpower. Careful to get mentally overwhelmed and overstimulated now. The two girls represent becoming your own best friend and confidante. It's easy to show deep compassion for others. Shine that light and attention back on yourself. Be your own best friend. 

A bell jar freezes a memory in time. Perhaps a beautiful, happy time or possibly an innocent time from the past. You might be feeling the need to get back to the place where you threw caution to the wind and let your wildness out. One of the best ways to get back to the wilding within, is walking around naked and dancing. Another one is singing at the top of your lungs, or screaming to your heart's content out in nature. If you want more time, let the Universe know now, by your intention. Carving out ten minutes for yourself in a 24 hour day, is creating time intentionally. From there, your desire for more time can be cultivated. 

☽ Celebration
I can't help but feel like this maiden is the personification of Virgo. The original meaning of the word "virgin' was a girl who was a law unto herself. She was self-governed and autonomous. Goddesses of the hunt, the moon and nature, Artemis and Diana are the ultimate representation of this girl, free and untamed. Diana is the Roman goddess and Artemis, is her Greek personification. She talked to the animals and could control them. 

This girl also possesses an innocence. She welcomes the cycles of things to come in the form of butterflies. She holds a golden goblet marked with starlight. Keep your head towards the heavens and wish upon the stars. When you do, you are the believer of your dreams and you are the believer of dreams for others. The way you live your life affects others. The hope and faith you have for your life intoxicates and rubs off on others. Gratitude is a force of nature. Everything that you have done and lived through up until this point, has made you who you are, and it is good. Crown yourself extremely loved and fortunate. Celebrate you and the good things that have already come. This practice creates more space for what is to come for you, and what you want. 

The next four months will be highly charged magically, as we move into the Fall Equinox happening in a few days and into the season of the thinning of the veil between heaven and earth in October, and into the end of this year. Virgo is all about making lists. Time to make lists for what you want to do and accomplish. 

Clean up. All the flowers on her dress symbolize adorning our bodies with love and respect through good health practices and healing things, like massages, or reiki, or using meditation and music for healing. Protect yourself from energy vampires. Cleanse toxic thoughts. Virgo represents cleanliness and order. There is magic in cleaning up your house. If you can't do a deep cleaning yet, at least dust and clean your floors, or hire someone to the dirty work for you. Open all your windows, play some great music. Do the feng shui cure for stagnant energy and clap in every corner of the home. Burn a little sage and incense. 


☽ Peace 
This card represents the intense healing that could happen around this new moon. Usually full moons are for releasing, but certain astrological aspects from Chiron, the wounded healer could bring up old and nasty wounds that still hurt to be touched. I had a huge a-ha moment today during my journal time. It blew the doors open for me and gave me profound clarity about a personal situation. Wounds from past lives and disturbingly painful childhood wounds may intensify, especially if you have asked for healing. If you are exploring your spirituality and claiming the power of your innate intuition you might be aware now, bit by bit, of past lives coming to the forefront of your awareness. You might remember being burned as a witch or priestess, or ostracized as a warrior for refusing to kill women and children in the name of war. You might not feel things like this at all, but still feel sadness you can't really name. Allow it to be and surface. 

I sometimes stuff my feelings with a little too much food. The Mother of Jesus, Mary represents the nurturing Mother we all have within. Virgo rules wellness and well-being. She is a symbol for the Great Mother Gaia as well. Virgo is an Earth sign. Time to ground ourselves and find peace. This card signifies those daily practices to restore centeredness and wholeness. Your soul has messages for you always. Could you practice stillness at least once a day? It could be through meditation or simply watching the sunrise. We are walking human beings not walking human doings. 

This card is also another sign to take great care of yourself. To put new regimens into place and heal yourself through being kind and good to yourself not just others. This New Moon carries the power to create pattern interrupts. Yes we can create new patterns. And sometimes simply getting up and walking away for a second, or calling a friend can stop the process. 

The mother here touches on so many things. Mothering ourselves, letting Mother Nature heal us, connecting to the nurturing mother and healer side, of the sign of Virgo. Nourish yourself at this time. Depending on what hemisphere you are in, you might be feeling called to adjust your diet to sync up with the season. Southern Hemisphere folk are moving into a vibrant and brand new Spring. Northerners into magically charged Autumn. I've been adding more soups and stews, pumpkin and sweet potatoes and cooking my food to make it heavier. It suits me for blood type, my system and my astrological sign. It's so cool how we naturally tune into the seasons. 




Here is a list of special Virgo-specific magical to-do's to move energy and cleanse your space between now and the end of the year. Start with the first one if you can. 

*Clean out your medicine cabinet. This is highly auspicious on a Virgo New Moon!

*Clean out your refrigerator and freezer. 

*Organize and clean out your pantry.

*Clean up your office. Throw away papers. Organize your file and clear clutter out of the corners.

*Clean your basement floors or attic floors. Remove clutter.

*Clean out your closet and get rid of old clothes you don't wear anymore.

*Clean out your jewelry box and drawers.

I am so excited to use one of my new favorite decks, the Medicine Cards. A brand new deck for a brand new beginning. Get on your rockets and ride! Aries is in the house! And it's a super-moon. It's go time. Aries is the sign of the maverick, and the self-starter. Aries peeps eat passion and motivation for breakfast. Their cool exterior is just a ruse for a fire-starter living within. 


☽ Wild Boar ~ Confrontation 
When Wild Boar shows up its time to confront fears. Aries energy keeps showing up, dealing with challenges and setbacks. It's all part of the process, the journey. Expect the warrior energy of Wild Boar to lead you to victory. Believe in yourself! Believe in all who have gone before you and paved the way.

What pressing things are on your mind? What character traits are getting in your way? Where are you procrastinating? And why? Procrastination isn't always about laziness. Often its about fear. Fear of rocking the boat, or making changes you know you need to make. This goes for anything you are dealing with over and over. If you have something you can't get past, have a talk with yourself this new moon in your journal. Ask what yourself what you might be getting out of putting things off? What fear comes up for you? Are you afraid to lose control? Allow Wild Boar to help you go into battle, and stand up against your fears. Be courageous. 

Procrastination can also be a mask for something you really don't want to do. If getting your masters degree is simply a status symbol impressed on you, and you've been talking about for 10 years, it might be time to take that off your list. This new moon wants you to follow the what lights you up, and kicks your ass into gear! Where can you take a little risk? Even in how you think?

Make a list of goals and things you really want to do on a personal level, by level of importance. Don't be afraid to think BIG and in YOUR favor. Pick 1- 3 things that make your insides stir. If there isn't a green light for your picks, they might not be that important, or your belief as to whether it's possible could be a roadblock. If you are stuck, have faith and confidence in your strengths. What are you good at? What have you accomplished in the past? Gather strength by building on what you have done in the past. Still feeling stuck, get a reading to help see things with a different perspective, and to create a plan. 

Is there a person or situation you are avoiding? Be open to other points of view and possible strategies. Wild Boar says to think it through, and see how you can get past it. If you aren't ready to move yet, make peace with where you are, call in Spiritual help AND make a plan for yourself as if you were ready. Be aware. 


☽ Blank Shield Card ~ Special Totem or Ally
How perfect to have a blank card in the second position of this spread, symbolizing the present. Its open season. What do you want? What do you wish for? What flames burn inside? Have you given up on your dreams? Do you secretly wish to write or be a chef? Consider writing a blog. If you write a page a day, you could have a book, by the end of the year. Invite friends over for dinner if you love to cook. Share baked goodies with friends and get their opinion, or take a cooking class. If you love wine, write about your tastings and share with the world. Have wine tastings at your house. Be sure to send your guests away sober and able. Indulge your passions. Pursue happiness and fulfillment. The future is wide open. You have a blank space to create now. 

The blank cards are also representations of chosen allies. If you work with a special angel, this card symbolizes their presence, and influence in your life at this time. They have answered your call, and your prayers. I shared in this week's mantra, I've got my groove back, that our angels, and beings on our spiritual team cannot intervene in our free will. 

Your angels take your prayers up to your Heaven. The word angel means messenger. If Buddha is on your team, ask what his advice and guidance would be? What would Buddha do? What would Jesus do? Ascended masters guide us. Know that help is upon you now and the big U has your back.


☽ Raven ~ Magic, Death & Rebirth
The Raven represents a magic portent of the new moon in the context of this reading. Do not question your power as a human being, or your power as a spiritual being. We are human and Divine. This is a sign to co-create powerfully and confidently now. Do not question your power to co-create with your Higher Power. What's tired? What's dragging you down? Are you the cause of your drama and issues? Have you lost your connection to your Higher Power? Are you engaging in behaviors that dishonor you and others? 

This is a sign to stop doing what you know is not in line with your true heart, and your truth. Raven, another messenger says its time to get right with your authentic truth. Magic is afoot and available to you now, at the advent of this Aries New Moon. The old has already begun to fall away, so let it happen. 

Raven represents creative energy. Become the magician of your life. This means to move forward in the direction of how you are called. Simple things like following a hunch to go into a new store, only to find exactly what you were looking for. You could run into a friend, or hear about an event you'd love to go to. Be open to synchronicity. Be open. The world is a beautiful, mysterious and enchanted place. 


Your Aries New Moon Ritual
My energetic prescription for Spring cleaning and getting rid of things you no longer use is still good medicine now. 

*Clean our drawers and closets, especially if you feel stuck. Start with one, or just your clothes, or the bottom of the closet. 

*Clean out the receipts in your wallet. If you want to bring more money in, get a brand new wallet and/ or purse. Look for a bright red, pink, vivid green or gold. Black is good too. Make it special. 

*Celebrate victories. Celebrate your friends and family, and go out. Celebrate new beginnings. Toasts are truly magical ways of celebrating and bringing in the new. 

If you are still feeling hesitant, just BE Ready to move.

Spring Equinox 2016: Happy Spring! www.tatianascavnicky.com

You'll be blazing at the start of Spring. In the year of the Monkey, fire and action shake up the status quo. The beginning of this year came in sleepy and soft, but now we are in renovation mode. It may feel like hyper-drive alternating with overwhelm, or wavering between chill-axing, and feeling like it's time to do something, but you don't know what to do. 

Spring gives us the cosmic push to enter the season. If you have been asking for more, it will be given. 

I can't tell you how crazy it seems on the roads right now. People are driving fast and recklessly, driven to get to their destination without thinking about how their speeding and weaving affects other drivers. The last week or so, I have felt like I was being reprogrammed and needed lots of rest.

Time to ground yourself. When you feel overwhelmed or spacey, feel your feet on the ground. Focus on your intentions for Spring. Bring them to voice...speak them out loud. The throat is the center of "I AM". Stating I AM happy and grateful, or I AM healthy and prosperous causes electromagnetic matter to form, from your words, causing things to happen. Declare what you want. Whether lighthearted over a dinner toast, or during a full on Spring ritual, speak it. 


☽ Two of Swords
In the context of this reading this card symbolizes navigating opposites. Life is not all rainbows, ice cream and unicorns. There is earthly stuff that needs to be dealt with. This is also about inhabiting our bodies, even when things are crazy. 

Things may have felt so challenging, escapism wasn't an option. Truth came calling. Time to choose. Spring can help you make moves. Doing a ritual literally moves energy. Prayer and intention are powerful agents of change and manifestation. Between the last Virgo full moon and the recent epic Pisces new moon + super moon + eclipse, it seems the world is magically super charged and racing. Many are seeing themselves in a whole new paradigm....but not sure how to make the switch. 

The message to ground and connect to Mother Earth is very strong. Picture someone standing serenely and powerfully, amidst whirling cycles of energy, dust, earthly matter, and storms. A hurricane of incoming possibilities is available. Don't drink the Kool-aid. Come back to yourself and ground. Make your own potion.  



☽ Page of Wands
New exciting opportunities are on the way. Be confident in your abilities. Lean into your higher power, and your own strength. The page also embodies the fire energy alive now. Watch for impulsiveness and recklessness. Observe and take in information during important business and personal conversations. Courage and charisma is charming, but what is your big picture? Where are you headed? Where do you want to go, even if you prefer to wander, rather than run?

You may have decided to pull back and nurture yourself this Spring, and play more. This card symbolizes getting back to your innocence, and looking at life with new eyes. The new paradigm energy feeling relates here too. Look at yourself through new eyes. See the treasure in your beloveds and all that you have. If you have been feeling cynical or resentful, the page of wands is a sign and guide to look at life with wonder and innocence.


Ritual actions for the Spring Equinox 

* Go through your closets. Throw away old clothes. Give them away, or donate them. If you haven't worn something in two or three years, it's time to say bye!

*Paint a room in your house, or change out a room by using completely new accessories like pillows, artwork, and paintings. 

*Clean your house. Cleaning is an ancient form of clearing energy and bringing in the new. If you don't want to, hire someone. After cleaning, safely light candles and incense. Sage if you can. Play music and open the windows. Dance in your intentions for Spring. Sing out loud. You can move energy. 

*Get naked and look into a mirror. Being naked is good. It's freeing. We are more beautiful in the skin we were born in. Tell yourself how beautiful you are, and that you are worthy of all you want and more. Blow kisses. Promise to be good to yourself. 

*Clean out your refrigerator.

*Plant seeds for your garden.

*Make a list of things you want to do with your family, and your honey.

*It's the perfect time to renovate your house. If renovation isn't what you have in mind, change it up by redecorating and cleaning up. Get rid of junk and clutter.

Hello and welcome back! I hope your weekend was Divine. Our mantra this week is to follow what makes you come Alive. From the simplest things like morning's first sip of coffee or tea and rays from the sun, going to that yoga or spin class (if your doctor has given you the green light) to spending more time with your peeps or loved ones. If you need freedom take off by yourself for awhile. Maybe a day trip is in order or a total vacation. 

I've taken to reading at night again on my new Kindle Fire. I never thought I'd be a Kindle girl but I have so many books. I am obsessed with all books written by Alice Hoffman, the author and magical story teller of "Practical Magic". I'm finishing up "The Probable Future". And I'm adding books about the moon and Goddess magic to my home library.

If you've ever had that feeling in your gut about someone and were right, you are psychic. For those dreamers out there that see the future, you are definitely highly clairvoyant. Here are some ways to turn on your inner-guru and set flight to your natural-born intuition.


It Happens in Three's
If you see or hear something 3 times, Spirit is bending your ear. Run to the bookstore for a book title that keeps coming up. Be sure to see the movie, play or gallery opening recommended by friends and the newspaper. You may just meet your next significant other or someone you totally connect with business-wise at your local museum.  

Pay Attention to Visual Cues
Number sequences are huge signposts from the Other Side. 1's represent new beginnings. Seeing 111 over and over is a sign to let you know you are a powerful creatress and manifesting savant. 7's are Spirit's way of saying you are on the right track. Take to heart repetitious sightings of doves, crows or eagles. Doves represent peace, love, Jesus and forgiveness. Magic is afoot! Crows are magical positive omens and confirmation of your natural intuitive powers. Eagles are symbols of clairvoyance, which means clear seeing, and keeping your eye on the prize and the big picture. They can also mean justice. 

Any animal that keeps showing up for you and in your dreams is a message. Look up what they mean. 


Tune In
Using meditation is a fast track to your intuition. Simply setting the intention and declaring "I AM super intuitive" or " I AM magically gifted intuitively", opens up the channels. Meditation doesn't have to be a super-intense or regimented thing. A few minutes of deep breathing right before you get out of bed, or before you go to sleep is a perfect way to start. If you feel you want more, go for it! Be in nature. Let your mind wander and take in beauty for another way to meditate. 


Keep an Intuitive Journal
Write down the signs you see. Ponder how they connect to your life. Explore your feelings around intuition. Were you more open when you were young? Were you told that following your intuition was wrong? Write down dreams that you vividly remember. Keep a record of coincidences that happen for you. The attention given to your intuition expands it bringing you deeper into the veil, the space between this world and the other side where intuition is queen. 


Follow Your Hunches
Those feelings you get in your body and mind are your intuition talking. Clairsentients or clear-feelers may get powerful tugs in their belly. Pay attention to how you feel around people and in places. Your body is giving you valuable information. Heed red flags about people. Claircognizants or clear-thinkers get mental hunches. Trust Yourself
Believe in your intuitive abilities. You were born with them. We all have them. Trouble is if you aren't hanging with the Harry Potter-type peeps and angel and unicorn lovers, pursuing and developing intuitive skills can seem to scare the hell out people and cause strange looks. You are doing what? Reading oracle cards? Clearing your energy? 

When I give intuitive readings I trust and pass on what I am being told to say. I sometimes get numbers and that could mean in 3 weeks or 3 months, a new job or relationship is coming. Sensitive and personal issues come up and I just have to trust my intuition. Giving intuitive readings is simply being fully on board, really trusting your intuition for someone. Hours of meditation, intention, trust, study and being totally in service for someone multiplies intuition thousands times over. 

Trust your intuition. Trust those feelings to call a friend if they keep popping up into your head. They might just be needing a bit of support. Go to different coffee shop if you get the guidance. There might be a reason you got called there, or there was construction or delays to your usual spot.

It's not rocket science. We are all powerfully intuitive. It is our first sense as far as I am concerned. Have fun connecting to yours!
