We've seen the shadow in ourselves over the last few months, but now we can easily see the beauty, love and humanity in ourselves and others as well. 

Taurus rules love, home, beauty, sensuality, pleasure, stability, security and our values. Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love, art and money. Let's see what the cards have to say about this beautiful and grounding moon phase.

☽ Maat ~ Fairness
Maat is an Egyptian goddess who rules over justice and fairness in personal relationships and money. Deep and personal things we have been carrying about ourselves have come to light. Maat tells of balancing our light and shadow. It's been a deep dive. The perfection of our beautiful humanity has been revealed. We may see better how we've projected ourselves onto others. You've given yourself a much-needed break and others as well. Having discovered the power of forgiveness, the trickle down effect is clear. This is a compassionate and loving New Moon. It feels very lovely and serene to see life and ourselves, in a whole new way.

Healing is available now in relationships, especially in love, and in business. It's a good time to reevaluate business partnerships. Bring love, beauty and value into the mix. Triple the value you are giving to your business. How can you give more to the people you serve? Bring love to your everyday. There is magic in it. Triple the love you show yourself then beam that outwards. Love is free. Love is unstoppable.

☽ Rhiannon ~ Sorceress
New Moons are for manifesting. For the next two weeks what you wish for now will gain momentum. Taurus loves the finer things in life. Going back to your everyday state of being, what you love to do creates a positive magnetic charge. You will radiate from the inside and out, activating powers of attraction. The other day I took my first trip of the year to my favorite gardens. I was so rejuvenated! I talked about it in my Love Your Mother: In Honor of Earth Day article. Doing small things overtime like a few minutes in the morning, just for yourself, or taking time to be with friends, or taking a class will make a huge difference overtime. 

Relish simple things like your children's joy and laughter, watching the sunrise or sunset, or being close to who you love. If you've been caught up in the rat race, this Taurus New Moon can ground you back into the reality of the delicious simple things in life. Enjoy a great meal. Schedule a massage or mani/pedi. 

Revamp your money around what you value. Value the time you spend or have. Put aside cash for a trip now. Try not to say things like I don't have any time, or I can't afford that. Get rid of receipts and papers you don't need or file them. Clean your wallet out or get a brand new one. In Feng Shui, a gold-colored wallet symbolizes luxury. Red is a great color too, but it may cause you to spend. Black is great for wealth attraction. Green attracts opportunity in business and good energy. Knowing your Feng Shui birth element will show you what color is best for you.

Taking everything out of your wallet and organizing it is another Feng Shui wealth practice. It's like cleaning out your closet or junk drawer. There is a reason you feel good after you've done it. The energy has been reset and recharged. Keep in mind that getting a new wallet along with other small financial steps is part of a bigger holistic method.

The green on this card is the Earth element of Taurus personified. If you know a Taurus person, you may have seen how they like to have their treasured possessions around them. They love soft and plush fabrics and the comforts of home. The green of this card symbolizes our values as well. Green is the color of the heart chakra, one of the seven energy centers of our bodies. Focus on the importance of what you love and value now. This new moon welcomes slowing down and finding your comfort zone. Purification comes from aligning with our core ideals. Contemplate. Ponder. Be aware of squandering your time. Reconnect with your life mission.

The Hope of Things to Come: Libra Full Moon ~ Pink Moon April 11th/12th 2017 www.tatianascavnicky.com

We look to a future of love, light and hope. The Pink Full Moon was named by northern Native American tribes, representing the herb moss pink, foretelling the awakening of Spring. Impulsive and reckless Aries brings wildcard energy joining forces with cosmic rebel Uranus, shaking things up across the globe. We are growing exponentially. Jupiter aligned with Libra turns everything it touches to gold and sprinkles the sky with streams of joy and good fortune. 

☽ Freyja ~ Bold
Freyja is a Norse goddess of love and war. Named in her honor, she rules Friday. Her presence here embodies the fiery Aries energy alive and at play now. There will be power struggles in relationships. Intense emotions can stir up arguments. Beware of temper tantrums and mood swings. We want to have a good time and revel in the expansive and optimistic Libra energy, but try not go overboard, party too hard or do something rash. 


Freyja reflects the new ideas and creative expansion of this lunar phase. The future is calling. What we are called to do is calling us. We can see our talents and abilities in a new light. We have our own special something to give to the greater good and our special sauce is like no other. Be confident. Own your gifts and talents. On the flip side you might be asking why am I here? Daredevil energy makes us restless to expand even if we don't know where we are going. The direction is the future. Be excited. Expect things to change and they will. Shut the door of the past, on your left and open the one to the right. 

☽ Compassion
Libra seeks to create balance and harmony in relationships and the Collective. This Full Moon invites us to create sacred sanctuary within so we can extend ourselves to others. If you are watching the news, you very well could be taking on that energy, as if staying up-to-date politically can help in some way. Toxic energy drains us energetically, spiritually and in some cases physically. Have compassion for how you feel and at the same time keep the faith! Lean into joy. We have the power to rise above. Try not to be bitter and cynical. Get out of the left lane when someone is right on your a$$. Wish them well and cruise on the sunny side of life. Avoid arguments with loved ones to keep a happy home.


The elemental fairy in this card is praying. She wants release. Our shadow might make an appearance this lunation as really old wounds are coming up to be healed.This has been a theme as-of-late. We are again talking karmic and past life relationships.  A recent breakup might just be a blessing in disguise. Don't turn a blind eye to red flags in regards to potential love relationships now. Who are you allowing to be in your life? Honor the energy you have and who you want to share it with. 

If you are feeling victimized, it's time to turn the tables. As much as I have hated to hear this in the past, look for your part in an unhealthy dynamic. Do some journaling around how these issues reflect your childhood. See a good therapist to help you connect the dots. 



☽ Oonagh ~ Easy Does It
Personally we have the power to crack the whip and change habits. It takes less than a month to change something. This is a time of learning to let go at a really fast rate. Lightening speed in fact. Reboot your software, but Rome wasn't built in a day. It might feel like you just can't do what you used to. Venus who is also Aphrodite, is still working her beautify life, practice self-love magic and financial make-over mojo. If things aren't happening as fast as you would like, be patient and press play. Life's simple pleasures are treasures. An afternoon in the sun can soothe soul. Lunch with friends can cure a lonely spell. You might feel a bit lonely during this Full Moon so be sure to socialize and spend time with friends.


Oonagh supports the pursuit of happiness and higher missions now. Who and what are you devoted to? What makes your heart sing? I always say, these don't have to be huge things like creating a nonprofit or foundation for children in need. They can be, but maybe you forgot how much you liked to exercise, doctor-approved of course. Or how much you enjoy going to the movies. On a sidenote, will they ever offer non-gmo popcorn? I digress. Don't make sudden moves now when it comes to job and/or career changes. Be open. Look to the horizon for what's coming. Download light.

RAW & REAL ☽❍☾ Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse ~ Friday September 16th 2016

It's the close of an intensely personal and transformational time. Hello and welcome back! Our Virgo New Moon Solar Eclipse on September 1st began a restructuring from the outside in through our daily regimens and habits. We saw what was working and what was keeping us from budding out. 

On Friday Pisces is working with the healer planet Chiron on a deeply emotional level to clear away psychic blocks and the emotional sh**t of fearful and unhealthy emotional patterns. Your emotions might run away from you. Arguments could escalate and you might feel overly sensitive and just plain emotional.

Take good care if you feel a bit under the weather physically and feel sensitive to environments and the weather. Take a look at what was going on for you in the beginning of March and see if its related to now. You have quite possibly grown a lot between then and now as your perspective has most likely evolved. Change would not be the proper word here. This is evolution. September is the 9th month in a number 9 year. In numerology the number nine represents endings and beginnings. The space between these two eclipses is a new beginning amidst the realness and rawness. 

Give into rest and restoration this week as much as you can. Work smart not hard. What are you trying to push through? The cards are absolutely beautiful for this Pisces Lunar Eclipse.


☽ Guardian Angel
A motherly angel holding pink carnations hovers over a beautiful earthly girl. Pink carnations are a symbol of undying motherly love and of Mother Mary. Pisces is a deeply feminine sign. We are protected and deeply loved by the Divine Mother Goddess. She will be there for you. Call on her to care for you during this cleansing time especially if things come up. You don't have to have a reason for your tears. They are doing their natural work on you and for you.

This might be a tough time as people we deeply miss and still love may come up during this full moon or the feeling of what life used to be like before they were gone, or before that special someone got sick. Our girl is wandering in the woods. When you feel lost and need to feel loved and nurtured, get to the Earth especially to the water in honor of Pisces. Chiron was a healer and teacher who ultimately could not heal himself. We are not always in control of what our bodies do or how our hearts feel so we take care of ourselves and let nature and time do her thing. Take advantage of the space open now for you. A healing bath in salt water would be a beautiful full moon healing ritual.

Tears may come up for no reason. Be ready for moments like these. Many of you will have intuitive revelations and see the relationship between what you have been thinking and how it shows up on Earth. I was thinking about getting updated versions of my humidifiers and two days later they were selling them on TV, the EXACT kind I wanted. 

Your intuition will be heightened. Know that you are ultimately protected. Know that you are being watched over by your guardian angel and your angels. Sandalphon was one of only two humans that actually turned into angels. That is why his name ends in   -on. Sandalphon is said to be so big that he is tall enough to take our prayers up to Heaven. Angels cannot intervene in our free will so we have to call on them for help. Angel means "messenger of God". They take our prayers up to Heaven. 

Follow the call to use your intuition and learn more about connecting to your inner guidance. Attraction to connecting with your angels and archangels will be stronger now. When I see a book I have been wanting and there is only one left, I take it as a sign its been saved for me. 


☽ Gratitude
This image symbolizes the goddess of love Aphrodite known as Venus. Her crown is one of divinity representing the strong nurturing energy of the Divine Feminine holding us in her heart and the Divine Feminine within us. Alongside of that is honoring ourselves as strong women who seek out pleasure and life fulfillment and can be leaders. Its time to teach our daughters they don't have to be sweet and quiet to be loved. Good leaders are receptive to the ideas and information of others. They collaborate and then take action based on their own feelings and research and what they have learned and heard from others, balancing masculine and feminine energy. This theme of balance will come up more as we head into Libra in view of relationships and partnerships.


This card also calls for forgiveness as we touched on for the Virgo New Moon Solar Eclipse. Read that here to connect the dots. Pisces is ruled by Neptune, the god of the sea. He oversees dreams, psychic ability and illusion. You cannot move forward without shedding the unholy s**t storm of unforgiveness. Things work out the way they do for a reason. Just as we cannot be everything and everyone to ours, they cannot for us. I know this and can speak to it. My life changed as if a magic wand dropped charms all over me and my life when I chose to forgive. My life completely took a whole new direction. I began giving intuitive readings, writing and I went on tour performing my music. 

Forgiving is not forgetting. It needs to be mentioned that sometimes we hold onto resentment and unforgiveness because of fear. Fear we might have to be different and what does that look like? Fear we might have to change and own up. Fear of doing big things like moving or leaving a relationship. Just let go of resentment and grudges. This is the full moon to do it. Let that S**T go!! 


Our love goddess holds pink roses, a symbol of love, gratitude and appreciation. Gratitude is a form of alchemy. The more you practice it, the more your life is transformed... even just being grateful for the little things. Be grateful for all the help, love and good things in your life, and also the supposed bad things for they taught you so much too and how you have triumphed. Trust the power of being grateful to give you a new set of eyes to see the truth of it all. 

Be grateful for how far you have come. To feel emotional or under the weather isn't a bad thing. You don't always have to have it together. In fact you are a beautiful mess my dear. Tell yourself, "I like your hair a bit messy and the words you scratched out and replaced." 

A lovely white frame surrounds our love goddess. That is you my dear complete with butterfly wings. Butterflies symbolize metamorphosis. Their birth is not easy. Deep experiences of life have made you deeply beautiful, soulful and rich in experience and heart. 

If you feel more heady about all of this and less in your feelings, do the cleaning and clearing out of your files and home. Just doing that causes something to happen. Make your house a shrine to your future not your past. 


☽ Power
Re-connection to your Divine intuition and your soft and sensitive nature ultimately leads to your empowerment. You can navigate life better when you let your feelings and intuition guide you. Some of us get those hits...as we call them in the form of strong gut feelings. Instant flashes of big ideas and informational insight are another way. Let yourself be soft and receptive. When you go through a lot its easy and almost natural to be on guard for the next threat. You are trying to protect yourself. Your heart can harden. Try not to lose faith in the ultimate knowing that we are deeply loved and protected by God/dess and that we have power within our grasp to make a beautiful life.

There is a dream with your name on it. It came with you before you were born. Time to rekindle and ignite the flames of your creative power. Step into what you were made for. Be bold and brave. You are already made of it. What have you longed to do creatively? Feed the ache inside. We are all natural-born creators. Get back into what you love to do again. If there are delays, know and trust you will soon be riding high again. 

Leo naturally believes in the power within. The power to make good decisions. The power to remain calm and steady in arguments. Leo takes the high road because the view from there is amazing. Its not a compromise, its a way of life.

New moons are for creating and new beginnings. What began as an idea, a notion, or fleeting feeling has turned into a sense of perspective. You've heard the whispers of your soul. Your shifting needs and values have brought light to a total new you.You may have felt a sense of caring less and less for what the world says is successful or right or true. You've traded the hustle and bustle of "out there" for the hustle and flow inside. You've made your own success. 

Be sure of who you are. Embrace confidence. Believe more in your power to make good choices for yourself.  If you feel lost and out of touch with your roar think back to when you felt brave and on top of the world. Its that time again!

Gemini New Moon ☽❍☾ June 4th 2016 www.tatianascavnicky.com

The New Moon on June 4th aligns with Venus the planet of love and money, giving us a major vortex to really focus on all that we love, value and deeply want, and there is a lot wanted with Gemini energy. 

Gemini's ruler is mercury, the planet of communication and ideas. Write all your desires and wishes down. It's a good time for ritual. Making it social is perfect for this moon phase. 

Astrologically Gemini is the sign of the twins, opposing points of view and the essence of duality. If you know and love a Gemini you might be very familiar with their dance of covering all the bases, options and possible outcomes. They may seem indecisive and have a hard time making decisions. They are "double-bodied" signs like Virgo, Pisces and Sagittarius meaning they live in different worlds simultaneously. With Gemini and Virgo, also ruled my Mercury the planet of communication, this a true total head trip.

Venus adds a beautiful touch for setting new moon intentions. Think about what would really bring you satisfaction, fulfillment and love in the manifestation department. Think it over and "feel" it into being with your heart.

All of those things you have been denying yourself  because they seem over-the-top, self-indulgent or too much are what to bring to your manifestation ceremony. 

I recommend having some friends over of like-mind or peeps you want to bring into your circle, because you love having them around. Go out to dinner or just be in the company of those you feel orbiting on your wavelength. Bask in the glow of life. Appreciate the people around you including your beloveds. The love planet Venus showers her divine sparkles of enchantment over us all. Make time to be with the one you love. Schedule a trip. Create time to be together and put it out there into the mystical new moon light.


☽ Nemetona
Her name means "sacred grove". You can feel her underneath large and beautiful trees. She is a Celtic goddess who protected all sacred ritual and ceremonial sites. Her energy is powerfully protective and serenely nurturing at the same time. The many burning candles in our oracle card symbolize the fire of Gemini's inspiration and a big batch of thoughts and ideas. 

Planetary love goddess Venus rules the 5th chakra, represented here by the light blue circle at her throat. A sacred emblem circle with a blue stone sits further below at her heart, symbolically showing what you you express totally from your truth gets embedded into your heart. What do you need to express to yourself? There might be fear that your true desires won't be accepted or supported. Maybe you'll appear self-centered. Express what is on your heart not just in your mind. If you can't say it aloud yet, journal on it. Come out to yourself first where it matters, where it can be born.

Drawing this card can mean its time to create sacred space for yourself. Give yourself the gift of time. Where are you letting time slip through your fingers on details that keep you from seeing the big picture of what you love about your life? 

Nemetona shows up to remind us of how important it is to create a sacred place for ourselves at home. Find a room you can transform into your special place, your private get-away. Have coffee or tea in the morning in a serene spot outside or by a window. Find a place to sit and dream when the evening winds down. Have a journal and pen at hand or a book that sweetly touches your soul.


I took a few shots of the new moon altar above, each shot coming up soft and diffused. I kept trying to fix it so I could see the details of what the card said and get it perfect. Maybe the Universe is trying to say there will be lots of ideas and things to do and focus on, but what really opens that soft and dreamy place inside? Perhaps getting lost in the intentions and ideas of what my heart wants would light me up and turn me on far beyond where the details can take me.

I can sing a song and chart out all the notes. I look for the spots where I might need more vocal support or breath. Letting my jaw relax will give me a better and more beautiful vowel sound. But none of this is even in the same realm as singing from heart and soul. 

We touch on the details and intentions this new moon, but catch it all in a net of the pure, supernatural and magical desire.
