Selene is the Greek goddess of the moon. Her left shoulder, the feminine side is open to the water and a portal. The portal is eclipse energy opening like a vacuum. Will you dive in and listen for what your inner-knowing says? Or resist? Water represents emotion, intuition and receptivity. The gray, silvery and white colors reflect Aqua energy. Aquarius is thinking/mental energy. Originally, the waves of Aquarius meant two serpents. ♒ Serpents represent great wisdom and knowledge. That wisdom is running through you. You have access to it.
August energy is very activated and it will need balance. Take time to be with yourself and your thoughts. Tempers may flare, yours included. Things may explode. The lunar eclipse that comes with Monday's full moon and the upcoming Leo New Moon/Solar Eclipse is powerful and destructive as we shall see later in this reading. There could be relationship breakdowns, break-ups and breakthroughs. You may have already experienced a taste of this. The energy is building. There is a no-turning-back kind of feeling, like I simply can't go on this way any longer. To find your way through these crisis points, take an inner journey, the journey of intuition. There is no need to thrash, or crash and burn, but with this energy you might want to, in an attempt to feel better, or shake off the angry vibes. Astrologers consider eclipses wildcards because they shake things up.
☽ Guardian Angel
Take care of yourself sweetly and gently. This card tells of ancestors ultimately with us, even after death. You may have found yourself saying, "My Mom wouldn't want me to live like this. My Grandmother would want me to be happy." This is an awakening full moon with a harmonizing vibe. Traveling from here through eclipse season could be a blessing in disguise. The job you've lost love and inspiration for, might just disappear. Your company may close down or merge with another, and you are being offered severance pay. Or you might be let go. Like I said earlier, relationship break-ups, including partnerships are possible now, or total re-commitment at a new level of mutual respect and understanding could happen as well.
In full alignment of an aquarian sisterhood and brotherhood moon phase, angels represent unconditional love and service to the greater good of humanity. They also bring the message to observe our feelings and emotions, and the thoughts we have about them. Upsets and fights may trigger deep emotions that feel super intense, and hard to hold inside. You might combust or blow your top. I often say, anger has powerful information for you. Go inward. Let your body process the feeling. Your body knows. It can take you back to the root of that anger. Awareness of these tender and touched places brings healing light, and the clearing can begin. Witness the original root of intense and difficult feelings and emotions, especially repetitive and recurring ones. Detached aquarian energy will help you see better, so you can move towards and take care of yourself.
If you've been thinking about your mother lately, the pink carnations are a sign that she is with you, if she has passed on. Have you felt her? Deceased loved ones leave signs and hints when they visit, like a rush of air next to you, but there is no breeze, or smelling their perfume. Step right up. Don't be shy. Kali destroys the old so the new can enter. She has no fear and she comes to tell you that you can move through what stops you, and she will help you. This month is the perfect time. Calling on Kali is intense. She is the Hindu goddess of creation, preservation and destruction.This full moon lunar eclipse brings the urge to purge. If you have been feeling like a slave to your life and trapped, between now August 21st is pivotal. When you are really ready to cut ties and leave the past behind, call on Kali. Her energy is relentless and insatiable. She's not afraid to go to war. I can feel that!! If you need to be a warrior or warrioress, she will be there. But you must step out of her way and let her do her thing. If you are beyond ready for change, she's your force of nature, and when you call on her, know that transformation has been set into motion. I think twice before I call on Kali, cause she's not nice! She is the destroyer. But she means business and will get the job done.
Floating in the stars, she is the symbol of the eclipse season happening now. Change is imminent, including leaders and those in power. I take a few pictures before I choose then one I'll use. In every one Kali was flooded with light. I knew this had meaning for the the huge shifts and transformations possible, and the ones happening for you, on your behalf that I was talking about earlier. Now is the time to pursue your life's passion. What you love to do serves the world. Aquarius and Leo energy together say to be true to yourself and to your gifts. You are your most precious and greatest resource.
☽ Bast
The Egyptian goddess of pleasure, music, dance, healing and cats of course, is a little preview of what's to come in August. She represents the sun and Leo's 'living large' and 'being seen' energy. Check out the statue of her in the photo of my altar for the last oracle card reading, On the 21st a fiery Leo New Moon will blaze it's beautiful sunny light. The serpent on her head is another sign of the undeniable and strong inner wisdom we all have within...always. Time to reset, hire and fire! More to come!!
