Because this new moon is a supermoon it can feel a lot like a full moon. You might feel sensitive or sad and emotional, and not know why. Delve into your emotional life. Cultivate feelings of security and safety within by bravely and compassionately looking at where you feel vulnerable and out of control. Dandelions to her left and red poppies to her right, an exotic goddess freely and fully expresses herself. Dandelion signifies that bringing a gift to a loved one will bring them happiness. Cancer is the astrological sign of family and home, and of our mothers and all forms of the Mother Goddess. The new moon is at 2 degrees Cancer. In numerology, 2 is the number of relationships. Relationships can literally transform at this time. Cancer is a loving and super-nurturing sign. Open your heart to love and experiencing sensuality. Have no fear and receive from loved ones you feel safe and secure with. 


Red poppies symbolize family and remembrance, beauty, success and luxury. Love and resources are flowing at this time, brought on by the merging of Venus and Pluto. Think abundantly about your life. Follow your wants and sensual pleasures. Red represents money, our life force and our rootedness to the earth. The more stable and secure you feel, the better. Cultivate that. Also...they say to tend to your garden at this time. Literally and figuratively. Tend to your pleasure as well as your responsibility.

PLANETARY DOORWAY: Virgo New Moon And Solar Eclipse ~ September 1st 2016 www.tatianascavnicky.com

A big, bold and beautiful cosmic happening is on the way in the sky. A Virgo New Moon and Solar Eclipse on September 1st parlays to a Pisces Lunar Eclipse on the 16th. This is a time portal to come clean (yes Virgos love the word clean) become crystal clear with Virgo's ruler Mercury who reigns communication and thought. What do you want when it comes to how you are taking care of yourself and how you are living life everyday? 

Virgos it will be years before an eclipse comes through our sign. Use this baby. Its all wrapped up in all of Virgo's finest...complete with codes for reincarnating in the body-mind you already have. For Virgos this new moon falls in your first house of health, self, vitality, personality and self image. What have you become and who are you becoming? ☽ Angel of Inner Peace & Tranquility
Connect to the Earth and be barefoot on the ground as much as you can in the next two weeks. Lay in the sand or on the ground. In your meditations feel yourself supported by lush earth. Our root chakras govern feet, legs and lower back. This is the chakra for grounding, security and stability. Where can you be more grounded, secure and stable especially when it comes to how you are living your daily life? Are you rushing to get everything done? Are you a mess? Time to slow down. 

The good news is you are not in charge of the world, as much as you think you are, this is simply not true. Life has a way of working itself out. Time to pare down to the bare minimum of what needs to be done so you can minister and attend to yourself. What has not served your health, stamina, future, your very being and your your veritable life simply will not do anymore. First life throws pebbles then it throws rocks. 

Hematite is a beautiful grounding crystal that shines attention on unfulfilled desires of life that may be expressed through addictions. What are you avoiding? What have you made holy? More good news: the more you take care of yourself the stronger you will be. Then you will be able to make changes.

Forgive yourself for where you think you should be by now. Retire and bury for good the false hellions named shoulda coulda and woulda. Save your soul and start now. Start over. If there is something you still really want to do perhaps it wasn't the time, or you really don't want to do that thing. Let yourself off the hook today. 

When it comes to beginning the wonderful things you really want to do, its important to start clean. What is at the root of your goal? Do you think if you lose weight you will be more beautiful? If so the work is in claiming your beauty now. Get some new clothes. Paint your toe nails. Do what makes you feel beautiful for you...not someone else's standards. Marilyn Monroe was a size 14. Wear beautiful clothes around the house and adorn yourself. 

If more money and expanding your career is in the queue for you, carry yourself that way now. Look into the expanding your career horizons. And most importantly believe and know it is possible, because it absolutely is! Retire and bury for good older versions of you from the past that simply never resurrected. It hasn't happened because its not supposed to. You are meant for more. Something bigger and relevant to NOW! The past is gone. Thank God❥dess. 

Forgive anyone and anything you need to at this time between now and the 16th. Make a list. This can be really intense so get support if you need it. Reach out. Know that your soul was never and is not ever meant to be a temple of resentment, pining and aching. Pray, meditate and burn lovely incense at the temple of your shiny, light, clean and clear spirit. 

There is a reason why you are hanging on the past. Figure it out. Patterns that keep coming up in relationships can be healed. ☽ Flame Tree ~ The Start of Something New
Say what? The start of something new? Hell Yes! The tree in this card represents Virgo and her Earth energy. An eclipsed moon rises in between two trees, symbolizing the September eclipses. I am constantly blown away by how the card images mirror and support these readings. Stay focused on thoughts and daily activities that make you feel good. Refine your regimen to serve you and others. You can still do for others without giving away a piece of your lung or chunk of your wallet. 

This card is number 30 in its deck breaking down to three, the number of Earth. What you do now will impact your life in the future. You are laying the roots. Be steady and grounded like Earth. Some of you just need to slow down and give yourself three minutes of deep breathing daily. 

I love how the trees on this last card seem to be hugging each other. There is great love for us from Mother Earth and Sister Moon. We have been shown our shadow side. Its a good thing. We know what we have to watch out for. A few days before and after the 16th the shedding and emotional tension of what is being built and what needs to fall away will be present. We will dive deep into that in the upcoming Pisces Lunar Eclipse Oracle Card Reading. Crystal Alchemy: Sweet Selenite ~ A Must-Have Gem www.tatianascavnicky.com

Selenite is named after the Greek Goddess of the moon, Selene. This delicate, soft and serene crystal is one of "the" crystals to have around you to create peace, serenity and calm. Some crystals can disturb your sleep, but you can put this gem on your bedside table. Because Selenite is restful and soothing, it can be used for helping with insomnia. Try it out and see. Use it for clearing your mind and emotions, and to release stress. It does wonders for relaxation and meditation.

Selenite is a form of gypsum which means "liquid light". It can be white, peachy brown rose as “Desert Rose Selenite”, or orange and blue-grey. It is perfect for a baby's room or anywhere in the house you'd like to bring tranquility and stillness. I like the white and softer muted colors for nurseries and kid’s rooms. Feng Shui, “the ancient art of placement”, calls for using it in living rooms, bedrooms and the spiritual center of the house, the front left corner of your home. The one pictured above comes from my favorite crystal shop Kona Rock & Mineral on the Big where I used to live. I gave intuitive readings there and often recommended selenite to help with meditation and for clearing energy. I love a sweet selenite wand on my oracle card decks to keep them clean and clear in between readings.

Crystals need to be cleared from time to time, some more than others. Obsidian never has to be cleared. It automatically clears itself. Selenite, like kyanite and lepidolite cannot be put into water. Cleansing your crystals under moonlight can be a beautiful full or new moon ritual. Clear them every other month, or every season. The difference in how they feel will be amazing, very much like when you wash your favorite sweater or jeans. They feel brand new again.

I also recommend clearing and washing your daily jewelry and pieces you wear often. Psychometry, the ability to read inanimate objects works off this principal. Energy and vibration can be read off an object that belongs to someone, or a deceased loved one. A person’s energetic blueprint or vibration is carried in the crystals and objects that belong to them. 

I am often asked if crystals really do anything for us. I have done performances and workshops in crystal shops and it can be really hard to stay grounded. A lot of them together make a room hum and vibrate. How do you feel when you are out in nature? How does sitting by a beautiful stream filled with smooth pebbles and stones sound? Heavenly right? We are connected to nature and all of its elements. Its elements exist inside of us. The air is our breath. Our blood is water. Fire is the heat inside us needed for digestion and assimilation. Spirit is space in and around us. The Earth element is our bones and muscles. Crystals are of the earth.

We are taken away by the ocean's waves because we are 70% water. Looking up into the night sky's stars take us to dreamy otherworldly places, yet we are made of those same stars. Lush green forests connect us to the earth element. So how can we not be touched by crystals? Make Selenite your go-to crystal for rooms that need softening and quiet. Have one in your car, or at your work desk. I have a big chunk of rose quartz, “the love crystal” in my car, another soft and blissful stone. Combine these together for full-on peace, love and serenity.

Your Weekly Mantra ~ Sunshine, Fresh Air, Music & Crystals Clear My Energy www.tatianascavnicky.com

When you feel sluggish and under the weather it might be time for some extra rest, fun and detox. Clearing your energy can be done in so many ways. You may already have some really good rituals and methods that work for you. Changing it up can be super refreshing to your Soul and Spirit. Change up your meditation or take a different walking route. 

One of the best ways to clear your energy is getting outside in the sunshine. Not only does twenty minutes of sun give your daily dose of Vitamin D it cleanses your Spirit. If you like to write in your journal or have a daily meditation, just doing nothing can open up vast and reachable places of peace and calm.

Putting on music instead of having the TV or radio on in the background clears your energy. We do this when we have company because it sets the tone...the vibration. I recommend listening to Bob Marley for chillin and letting go. I have two meditations I created the Atlantean Healing Bed Meditation and Beach Getaway with binaural beat technology (nature's frequency) for clearing your energy. If you like to dance off your the funk I recommend "Break Free" & " Believe in Yourself" available at my music page. 

A gentle wind can clear your crown chakra, the energy center at the top of your head. Holding a clear quartz crystal is great for mental and energetic detoxification. Amethyst is wonderful too and adds a boost for your intuition and third eye -brow chakra (the seat of your intuition). If you are extremely exhausted and just done, pull out the bug guns and go for smoky quartz or obsidian. 


Listen to music. Put your feet in the sand or lay on the grass and let Mother Earth pull the funk from your body. If you can't get outside for long a sea salt scrub or bath will do the trick. A time of great change is available to you now especially for the next 10 days to 3 weeks. Maybe you have already felt it. Situations...people, places and things do not have to have power over you. There is a rising up of internal energy and clearing alive now. We were born in water. Astrologically a Grand Water Trine between Chiron, the wounded healer, Saturn and the  Cancer New Moon can bring great healing. Past issues will look like water over the dam, and you don't really give a damn anymore.


☽Atlantis
There is an acceleration of great joy. It may feel like energy. It's flowing. Things came to a head at the last Capricorn Full Moon. Decisions were made internally. Change happens from within. The last 2 weeks has brought much releasing and emotions flowed. The beautiful and serenely powerful mermaid on this card signals the coming turn hoped for, and the quiet and unstoppable force inside to reign over your life and emotions within. 

There is more to leave behind. You might choose to leave a relationship or job of many years. You know what you need, considering now after the last full moon phase, where you have given yourself away, and seeing the patterns of where it runs deep for you. Cancer energy is all about divine feminine energy, intuition, feelings and what is at the heart of the matter.

Time to get near water and do a water-based new moon ritual. Gather with your sisters under this new moon, or celebrate a meal together. Make a toast with full glasses of water and drink in new moon energy together seeing each and every one of you touched and transformed. 

Another beautiful ritual is letting a large pitcher of water with clean quartz crystals in it sit under the new moon light. Drink it the next day. 

This card calls you to de-clutter and get rid of things you no longer need around the house. Clean out little by little. Catch the flow to continue and release more crap. Small cluttered areas cleaned out will make a big difference. As a Virgo-Sun I believe 100% that cleaning and organizing is a powerful statement to the Universe and to yourself that you mean business. This New Moon activates this process. Make your room for the new at the new moon.


☽Vulnerability
An etheric heart envelopes mermaid and human. This card says sometimes we have to let go and not try so hard to make everything happen. A good cry is not indulgent, it's healing. What lies at the heart of the matter will shine through. It's not lazy or indulgent to satisfy needs of wanderlust, sensuality and downtime. We need rest. The gray color of this card echoes feminine receiving energy. Allow yourself to receive from others and pamper yourself at this time.

Crystal Alchemy ~ Smoky Quartz: How To Clear Negative Energy

This beauty just happens to be mine. I've been on the hunt for a crystal to clean and clear my energy, and the vibe in my home. March 20th's Solar Eclipse-New Moon-Super Moon and Spring Equinox opened a doorway to super-consciousness and transformation. I want my home to feel good to me. I need that support in my environment. I am riding the new wave along with you. 

If you feel that things have been harder for you since March 20th, I recommend doing a ceremony on the next full or new moon phase. It's also time to do an energetic cleansing of your thoughts and beliefs. It's time to give it up and open your heart to the new. More on this in my next moon phase oracle card reading. You do not have to tough it out! Talk to me about getting a reading if you are in a rough patch and need answers, or if you are rockin it and want to know what to do next! For now let's focus on our alchemical star, Smoky Quartz the ultimate cleanser of all-things energetic.

Smoky Quartz is a form of quartz. It's usually clear with darker, smokier hues of brown in it. It can also be mostly brown, ranging to almost chocolate colored. Scotland claimed it as there national gem, calling it Cairngorn, from the Cairngorn mountains. They consider it sacred, it's history dating back to the time of Druids, an intellectual class of theologians, astrologers, diviners, scientists, philosophers and astronomers. This baby is from my favorite crystal shop on the Big Island.

In Feng Shui smoky quartz is put at the front door to keep bad energy out. It is a super-protective stone for any area of the house where you feel you need it. It increases your intuition because it helps to clear accumulations of energy in your aura, your energetic body and your thoughts. 

Crystals can be programmed with an intention. This gem is awesome for lightening your thoughts and bringing you back into your body. It's a great healer for worry and transient feelings of depression. Not the kind you see a medical professional for, but you can use it along with traditional therapy. 

Smoky Quartz is awesome to keep by your cell phone or computer. Many healers use it to help diffuse and clear the effects of chemo and radiation. Smoky is strong, but I find it's one you may be able to keep by your bedside. You can ask for your new best friend from the elemental kingdom to do it's work, but be soft and supportive enough to be with you while you sleep peacefully.

It's a grounding stone. What does that mean? Smoky Quartz brings focus. If you are all up in your head and stressed out, it's a good earthly elixir for a worried mind and for calming down. It brings you back down to Earth. Remember worry is reversed prayer.



How to Use Smoky Quartz to Ground & Clear Your Energy 
To ground and clear your energy, hold a smoky quartz in your hands while standing. Try to be barefoot. Or sit in chair or on the floor, and hold it. You can close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Say a prayer to God, your angels and your spiritual team to help you clear and release any negative energy. Relax. Let go of any concerns, worries or cares.


With each deep breath, use the exhale to push it out, the inhale to receive good energy. Good energy = love, trust, happiness, prosperity, health...the good stuff. Don't fret over what the energy part means. 

Touch your chest and your legs with your hands. Feel totally supported by the surface beneath you. Sink into your chair or the floor if you are laying down. Feel your feet and your body connected to the Earth...straight down to the it's core. Let gravity pull you. 

You might like to picture and feel yourself laying on the beach, feeling the warm sand underneath you, or the ground of a beautiful, lush forest.
