Your Weekly Mantra: I Thrive From What Nourishes & Delights Me! www.tatianascavnicky.com

Seth  Doyle

Today fully wrapped up in my to-do list I found myself here, at your weekly mantra. Just before I started I turned my unicorn lamp on and made myself a cup of my favorite coffee. Bob Marley sings to me "I Wanna Love Ya".

It's so easy to get whacked out with our lists and tasks. Yes we have people and things to attend to. But where are you on your list? Maybe right now you are so busy wrapping up your book for publishing, beloveds climbing at your feet and pulling on your clothes, or working on an important work project. Or coming home from a long day and all you want to do is veg out unconsciously.

Fill in your current state of affairs.

Life...

Is luxuriousness a possibility in your everyday? Or play? Perhaps music could bring extra clearing energy to you and the housework or paperwork you simply must do. Light candles **safely** and put on some soothing music in the mornings or evenings. Ask your Higher Power to bring more joy and contentment to your everyday experience. Believe that Spirit is always looking to get your attention. Allowing your vibe to get high and expand attracts more support and unexpected gifts and miracles as well as the divinely radiant afterglow.

When you can't get to the spa, or out to hang with your girls and your list presses on you, cast joy and magic on it. Studies confirm that pleasure and delight strengthen our immune systems releasing healing feel-good chemicals into our blood. Resentment over time has the potential to be poisonous.

Pleasure isn't staying up night after night or doing way too much of what you like. It's nourishing yourself. Pleasure is fully and consciously delighting in the bites you take of that dark chocolate. In fact in her book "Ageless Goddess", Christiane Northrup says studies show habits that aren't that good for us if performed and experienced in the sheer delight of rapture can actually be healing.

It's feeling your way deliciously through a yoga session. It's an impromptu dance party with your kids with a secret intention to tire them out, loving it. Time alone with your honey is underrated. It's a full-on energy clearing meditation ending in deep fulfilling relaxation. It's saying the words themselves and letting them envelope you and fill your cells with heavenly feel-good light. Rapture. Delight. Luscious. Delicious. Ecstasy. Satisfaction. Love.

It is also crossing those things off your list that you committed to doing. That can feel so good. That goodness and pride makes more good stuff and juice to keep you moving forward, but make regular deposits of coinage to your pleasure principle bank. The more treasure amassed the stronger and healthier your immune system will become. Constant stress and overwhelm can suck the juice out of your life and your joints.

Really tragic things will happen in a course of a human's life so get off at the next stop and exit the crazy train.

Be true to your desires. A road trip or spontaneous trip. Nourish yourself with an afternoon spent languishing lazily reading and nibbling on your favorite treats, a nap or ten glorious minutes of nothing. Pleasure calms your nervous system. Don't let the world out there convince you that rushing and pushing constantly is a standard of living to choose for yourself. We flourish and thrive in environments of balance, fun, rest and accomplishment. Take it slow and purposeful. Intentional and steady. Strategic with stealth.

These mantras are like personal notes to you. I am grateful and happy that you are here with me. If I can bring you an elevated experience....maybe even enchanted and a different way of looking at things I've fulfilled my intention.

I would love to know what topics light you up and what you'd like to get more of to wet your spiritual appetite. Feel free to talk to me always in the comments below or chat me up here.

Your Weekly Mantra: The Spirit In Me Remains Untouched By Earthly Concerns www.tatianascavnicky.com

Via

Today I woke up tired and frustrated. I made my way to the kitchen to get my morning hot water and coffee. Sweet coffee....feeling better already. In the morning I journal and meditate. I let life pull me away from this routine the last few months and I am so happy to be back at it. The morning is sweet and perfect. The sky has that summer diffused haze. Birds skip and swoop over the tops of the trees. Heaven is in view from my window. I decide I just have to walk outside in it before the afternoon hot sun starts. Before long I am feeling better.

No matter what is going on...the latest turns of life and earthly issues there is a part inside that remains untouched. Its the part that keeps the Olympian unphased by competitors, the game or setbacks. Their daily practice in many ways reflects a morning meditation practice. Everyday they come with all the human stuff dealt with daily. They still practice. They come with physical aches and pains, and mental ones too. They stretch to reach the part inside that remains invincible, Divine and superhuman.

This is the measure that gives a human the super-strength to lift the car. This is the proportion that drags the body out of bed to face life in all its proposed deformity and glory. This piece gets a heart through heartbreak and tragedy and a body through illness. Yes that's in you. Please don't forget it for very long.

We may feel as if tiredness and worries or heartbreak will change and jade us forever. We will change. We will see that we are sweetly breakable, but we will come to know the Being inside that is magical, heroic and beyond this earthly life.

Check out my upcoming events! I hope to see you there.

Your Weekly Mantra ~ I Am Radiant www.tatianascavnicky.com

I pulled this one out of the archives because Spring is here and it is the perfect time to change it up. I shared some great rituals for starting fresh and feeling brand new in my Spring Equinox Reading. Check that out here. This week I invite you to connect to the radiant spirit inside you. "I Am" is the ultimate statement of declaration. Repeating a mantra over and over calls forth what we declare and influences our mental programming. Chanting your mantra is yet another great way to call forth your state of being.

If you like this weeks mantra, make it your very own personal mantra or create your own. Close your eyes for a moment and think about what you want to change in your life. If you have been a bit down, this weeks mantra would be perfect. I don't want to worry becomes, "All is well." I don't have enough time becomes "I have time for what is truly important."

Happy Spring!
Mantra Love,
Tatiana

Weekly Mantra: Confidence + Vulnerability = Inner Strength www.tatianascavnicky.com

Sometimes we just don't know where we are going and may feel totally lost. It's so easy to struggle and freak out when you can't see the forest for the trees. Stepping back with grace and vulnerability gives space for responding, and for Divining. What is Divining? Leaning on Spirit. Leaning into your spiritual practice. Pulling oracle cards, praying, waiting and watching for the way to be clear.

Emotionally we can get pulled down by sadness if we keep running from discomfort. Realms of poetry, books, songs and art have been made from this very discontent. Bleeding hearts touch us so that our own troubled hearts can rise up again. Discomfort may just be your biggest ally. Your heart and soul urging you to look more deeply. Follow the smaller signs and keep to the road you are on right now...self-care is super key in times like these.

What to do:
*Have compassion. Don't beat yourself up. Treat yourself like you would a friend. You will find your way.

*Have things to look forward to like spending time with your peeps.

*Schedule self-care essentials like massage and facials.

*Movie Night!
Watch your favorite movies back to back or TV series. Get munchies & furry blankets. Turn the lights down.

*If you are drawn to a book, course or class...have at it!

*Clear out clutter
This one is huge! If you have been reading my blog, you know how magical and transformative I believe getting rid of crap is. Getting rid of crap is getting rid of your crap. If you are all organized, get your house deep cleaned or clean it yourself. Do something you have been putting off. it will make you feel "confident" in the midst of vulnerability.

*Schedule an intuitive session
Getting confirmation of your current issues and feelings is a huge comfort during a dark night of the soul. Knowing the bigger picture, seeing how the pieces could eventually fit together eases anxiety and brings hope to a troubled mind.

Confidence and vulnerability can exist side by side. The depth of our biggest fears mirror the greatest love and strength of which we are capable of.

I am here for you...

Have an amazing week gorgeous!

Weekly Mantra: I Stand For Peace www.tatianascavnicky.com

"I Stand For Peace."

I have an Animal Advocate Page on FB and give regularly to shelters, the ASPCA and Humane Society. Everyday I am in horror of the choices and actions of my Human family. Isis has launched yet another attack and will continue as other attacks continue to happen around the world. I do not understand the need to kill and terrorize.

But I am in awe and deep gratitude for the members of my family who speak out, and give of their time and resources to those who need it to the victims of these great tragedies...created by other humans. I am in deep gratitude for the service men and women who give up their lives to protect us.

I am grateful for those that diffuse arguments on all levels because they can see the bigger picture. I strive to do this everyday as I feel it's a great lesson, and one I came here to learn. This does not mean to let people walk all over you in the guise of service and love. This does not mean staying in an abusive situation or giving all of yourself away for points in heaven. It means choosing where we have our power. Our power is in love and peace.

A truly powerful person has a core of peace and conviction that touches everyone around them. Sometimes, it's your neighborhood grocery store clerk who smiles, says hello, and chats you up that makes your day. Or the smile of a small child, or an elderly person who you know it took everything in them to just get out of the house.

This doesn't mean you never get angry. How can we not be angry at terrorism?

YES...this is your weekly mantra.

I've gone off. Off the rails...

I WILL NOT give up on peace. I will not stop believing in grace, the power of gratitude and miracles...everyday epic and cosmically epic. I cannot give up on more of the planet seeing the light. I wish for dog fighting to be a thing of the past. I wish that the government would stop sonar testing in the oceans, destroying it's inhabitants and the sensitive ears of the singers of the ocean, whales. I have to believe eventually they'll get it together and stop poisoning our water, resources and blowing up the planet for coal and oil, when we can harness wind, electric and solar energy. So I recycle. I filter my water. I don't squander water, gas and electricity. I have to hope for the future, not disdain and despair. I do what I can.

I can't give up on the disappearance of racism, and the end to hate crimes and terrorism to gay people. I will not give up on the end of crimes and abuse against women and children, of which I am one. I will not stop hoping for people that shop at the supermarket to buy humanely raised meat, dairy and non-GMO produce! (the hate crime against our planet)

I believe that if enough of us have the same wishes and desires change will happen because of who we are, and the choices we make. Tyson would go out of business if enough people consciously and actively stopped buying their products.

I have no tolerance for all this ridiculous ranting about Starbucks's red cup while all of this crap is going on in the world, and people are starving, murdered and in need of medical care. Seriously do you really think Jesus would give a thought to Starbucks Christmas marketing? I think he would be off demonstrating peace somewhere as all great and powerful thinkers like Buddha, the Dalai Lama and in some form of activism like Mother Theresa were.

I don't care what religion your is...spirituality is loving your divinity, and recognizing and honoring it in others, which ultimately creates Peace. It's about having a conscience. If we did that it would be a different world.

So I stand for peace and for peaceful activism. I can create change by the choices I make, the spirit with which I choose to walk in and by praying for peace. We MUST pray and not turn our backs on what is happening. We have to be peaceful and cultivate peace as much as we can. I will not be angry at my peaceful Muslim brothers and sisters. I send love, prayers and compassion to the victims in Paris, Kenya and in countries around the world I am not aware of yet, as well as basements, boardrooms, bedrooms, animal fighting rings, animal laboratory testing labs, slaughterhouses, etc. After air strikes, peaceful and protective systems must be put in place in Syria. I pray and shower beams of white light to terror.

Only light and love and cancel out hate. Martin Luther King, Jr. said "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

I stand for peace in the face of terrorism, in the face of terrible odds and abuse. I stand for what I know is right in my heart, in my conscience, my Spirit and my mind. It has absolutely nothing to do with religion, for countless wars and terrorist acts are done in the name of religion. It's about peace.

I pray for more heaven on earth.

In love and peace, I love you and thank you for being here with me every week.

Weekly Mantra ~ Little Changes Can Take Me Really Far www.tatianascavnicky.com

Image Pinterest

Gretchen Rubin's appearance on Super Soul Sunday inspired this weeks mantra. Her break-out book "the Happiness Project" is steps she took every month for a year focusing on what she wanted to change in life. We are coming up to that time again of resolutions for 2016. January 1st comes and our list is long.

A few years back a friend of mine decided he was going to exercise twice daily, eat healthy frozen meals every day and quit smoking all on Jan 1st. I didn't want to burst his bubble or crush his enthusiasm. He was so excited! I knew he wanted to feel better and be healthier and I wanted to support him. I told him if it were me I'd start with one thing, maybe one daily exercise session and then add things once exercising was a habit. It only takes 21 days to create a habit.

He assured me he had a plan and he knew would be successful. Going from no exercise at all to twice daily, and healthy eating from a junk food diet and heavy smoking to being super healthy and motivated was going to be easy. I was routing for him. These changes were really important on a many levels.

I'm a huge believer in keeping "overwhelm" and "guilt" in check. I knew intuitively he was not going to be able to do ALL THAT at once. And... not doing what you say you really want creates more guilt, leading you right back to those bad habits. "Tomorrow I'll start" becomes your mantra, as you fill yourself with food and substances that you feel bad about doing afterwards.

This week pick an important area of your life. Make it something you think about a lot already and take one small step towards making it happen. If you want to pray and meditate daily, wake up in the morning 5-15 minutes earlier or do it before bed. If you are a social bunny and need to get out, make monthly dates with friends. Make the arrangements you need to make that happen.

One of my priorities is to feel good. Making small changes over time can make you feel better, and give you a sense of competence and confidence. Don't make "tomorrow I'll start" your mantra! I may just read Gretchen's "the Happiness Project" again and start step by step next year.

What small step will you do this week to create more happiness? I am here for you! I want you to feel good. Watch out...sharing it and writing it down will help make it happen.
