Your Weekly Mantra: I Have Ten Minutes A Day To Create A Beautiful Life www.tatianascavnicky.com

Via

I was so inspired by Tony Robbin's visit to Super Soul Sunday a few weeks back. I love me some SSS! I recently changed up my morning routine which always includes meditation but I was journaling before I would meditate. You have to choose what is right for you and what you feel you need. That is the beauty of meditation. Tune into what you are craving. Your soul will answer.

If you are going through a rough patch, journaling can be great for getting rid of the funk. Its a clearing of emotion and thoughts. Its like taking a mental shower. Right as you get up things that are deep on your mind and issues you might be struggling with, will come up to be cleared.

This is also the most impressionable time for implanting new ideas and intentions.

If you are stuck in a really rough place, I recommend Tony's process as a quick and super great way to start your day with intention and gratitude for a powerful but quick daily practice. Journaling after your meditation can help you get out of that mental junkyard and invoke your God Goddess given magical-mojo powers.

The practice
* Three things you are grateful for, make it simple.
(Gratitude is a form of prayer)

* Three things to thrive....three things you'd like to see happen in the future and being grateful for their fruition.

* Ask yourself how you can love more.

Spending ten minutes everyday doing this will change your life....for real. I agree with what they said on the show. If you don't have ten minutes then you don't have a life. You may say but I am so busy. I think Tony and Oprah are pretty damn busy? Make it longer if you can and if you want to. But this is a game-changer. Read more about all the health benefits this short amount of time can give you here.

Meditation does not have to be a half hour or an hour long unless you want or need it to be. Doing it daily at the same time is good. Your body starts to settle in more deeply knowing its chill time. I like laying down and breathing focusing on feeling good inside as a practice too. My cat Hina meditates with me every morning. She actually comes to find me leading me to the bedroom. She lays on my crossed legs or close to me and off to Heaven we go.

Changing up your meditation from time to time is good. If you struggle with lots of thoughts coming in, use a guided meditation. I have quite a few to serve your needs. There are healing ones and meditations for prosperity and confidence too. Being guided with a soothing voice and imagery gets you out of your head and along for a beautiful ride.

I talk so much about how we can change our lives for better. This is probably the biggest thing you can take on and one of the most simple.

Oceans of love,
Heavily Meditated... XoTatiana

Your Weekly Mantra: I Am Focused On My Own Lane www.tatianascavnicky.com

It's easy to be influenced by all the messages we hear daily. Every few minutes a commercial comes on the TV advertising a new product with a positive name as a brand and if you buy it you will have strength. You will be miles ahead of the rest.
Magazines have pictures of the so called standard of beauty leaving many of our fellow humans out. We subconsciously compare ourselves to these limited images and we don't even know we are doing it.

Even so called positive thinking or affirmations can cause a discontent in the back of our minds which is so not the point at all! We wonder if something is wrong with our asking. How much we are believing. Are we doing it right? We see others who we believe are successful and happy and we think to ourselves...hmmm they must be.

Lately I have found myself comparing me to earlier versions. When I can do that again I will feel better. When I can feel, do and be like who I was ten years ago I will feel empowered and healthy again. I will be myself again.

Seeing others out there doing what you want to do, or what you used to do can bring up conflicting feelings. Being super happy for them exists right alongside another part inside that falls slowly into discontent. You might find yourself feeling sad and conflicted like I have been. Fear has me thinking challenges have kept me from my purpose. Fear has me thinking life has finally gotten to me, or there is something wrong with me now. And yes life has brought me to a totally new mountain to look off of.

The great Anne Lamott said "My mind is a neighborhood I try not to go into alone." My mind then tries to tell me I am less than now, because things don't look like they did during the times I felt really good about life. My ego joins that block party and it's all downhill from there. I am on the bad streets. I recognize the neighborhood and I do know the street signs.

During times like these its important to have mentors and role models who are paving the way. Who would we be without the strong and able before us? We do get inspiration and ideas from people doing what we do out there. But we fool ourselves into believing we've lost something, or lost a part of ourselves or we will never feel that glorious again. And that is total BS!

The Universe has lots more in store for you my dear. How will you know, or be able to hear it if you are lost in the bad town part of town in your head? Oprah said once if we feel like we are off track its a sign to change direction. Its a sign to focus your eyes on your own lane and listen for what is next. Be open. Take your self out of the past. Stop comparing yourself to an older and outdated version. Get it? Older and outdated?

The lioness above is the astrological sign of Leo where the sun is right now till August 22nd. Leo is proud and not afraid to go after the prize...the kill. Leo walks proudly into a room and owns it. If you are feeling like you are lost and can't get back to who you were at a good time in your life, know that you still own that lane. There ain't nobody in your lane who came to do what you came here to do. Follow your heart. Focus on what to do next. Listen to repetitive messages that keep coming up. Time to get out of that bad neighborhood and back to your own lane.

Own it baby!!

Your Weekly Mantra: I Give Myself The Gift Of Freedom www.tatianascavnicky.com

Contemplating the end of another year can bring up all kinds of emotions and pressure. Maybe if we could conjure up a really good year we might just get it right. I got two huge full color advertisements from gyms in my area offering memberships. The beginning of the year is not a good time to make a long list of all the things you think you "should" be doing. If you do want to create a vision for the future, gift yourself the freedom to choose what would really impact you at a soul level. Something that would really make a difference for you that you value deeply. Pick 5-10, then narrow it down to your top three. If that is tough, think of how you would guide your sister or best friend to choose.

A person very dear to me said his plan for the year was to simply stay focused and in the zone, cause the last three were crazy. I've talked to so many people who have gone through some of the worst times in the last 3 years. I'm coming out and sharing that I was hit with debilitating anxiety on stage starting last year at this time. Singing and performing on stage has always been the place where I felt the most at home and secure. This sacred safe zone all but disappeared this past year...blowing my mind and center of gravity. I plan to say more about this in the future and share more deeply how I am getting my stage legs back.

My point is this. Choose something for the coming year that gives you the feeling of freedom in your soul. Go to the gym or start working out (if your doctor says its ok) because you really want to feel good inside, because you want to feel light and free and be around for your loved ones for a long time. Don't do it because you think if you were thinner, then your life would be wonderful and perfect and so would you. You are already perfect and I bet your life is pretty wonderful already. Choose a healthier body to feel even more amazing and get yourself some new clothes, underwear, boots or accessories that make you feel gorgeous now. Don't wait to recognize how beautiful you are or treat yourself!

I like the idea of picking a mantra for the year. You give a mantra more power the more you say it. 100 repetitions of "I focus on the good stuff" is going to bring you good stuff! Here are a few to try on for size. Check into how they make you feel.

* I focus on the good stuff.

* Happiness is an inside job that I can do.

* Everyday I discover wonderful ways to be grateful.

* I will be a better listener.

* I am gorgeous, talented and super-sexy.

* I'm happy, grateful & deeply loved.

* I can do what I set my mind and heart to.

* I am guided by the Divine Force and optimism in all things.

* I will learn to let go and forgive more easily.

* I am surrounded by so many loving and supportive people in my life helping me to have even more faith and confidence in myself.

* I am healthy, happy, strong, beautiful and confident.

* I speak my mind easily and communicate what I want and need.

* I love, honor and respect myself.

* I am so happy and grateful to be doing what I love! I have such a great life.

* I say Yes to life!

* I give myself the gift of freedom.

* I am happy, healthy and successful in 2016!

* I choose to have fun and be a positive person.

* I give myself the gift of an excellent year!

One of my personal favorites is, "The Universe is conspiring on my behalf." Yeay baby!

Science now confirms that spending just two minutes a day on visualizing your goals or journaling about a happy experience can change your inborn happiness set point. Is it really that easy? 2 minutes a day? Studies show that 2 minutes a day of positive focus make you 40% more likely to get a promotion. Harvard Professor Shawn Achor an author, speaker and researcher of Positive Psychology said on Oprah's Super Soul Sessions said these simple two minute practices have helped people suffering from chronic debilitating diseases decrease their pain medication by 50%. I don't know about you but that is life-altering, alchemical magic. What could a 30 minutes a day do? Imagine the possibilities.

Don't we have to work really hard to be happy? Don't we have to struggle and suffer? I don't think so. Yes we will ultimately commit to what we want and that can take a lot of "dedication and showing up". You might feel some flack coming your way when you choose to prioritize your happiness. Other people can get downright cut throat and judgmental towards people who "choose" to lead more chilled out lives.

Guilt creeps in and lays down the "shoulds". You should be doing this and should be doing that. It's good to stretch yourself out of your comfort zone. That might be a good mantra for the year. But do yourself the favor of ditching stretching yourself to thin.

Cut the chains off your feet and let go of the habits that no longer serve you. Make your mantra I feel so alive and happy when I (exercise, meditate, write every morning, volunteer, eat fresh food, spend time with family.. etc) Move towards people, places and things that light you up. Move towards freedom within. Latch onto love. My mantra this year might just be "I feel happy, safe and free onstage". That would be enough and everything for me in 2016.

Lots of Love & Mantra Magic,
XoTatiana

Weekly Mantra ~ Little Changes Can Take Me Really Far www.tatianascavnicky.com

Image Pinterest

Gretchen Rubin's appearance on Super Soul Sunday inspired this weeks mantra. Her break-out book "the Happiness Project" is steps she took every month for a year focusing on what she wanted to change in life. We are coming up to that time again of resolutions for 2016. January 1st comes and our list is long.

A few years back a friend of mine decided he was going to exercise twice daily, eat healthy frozen meals every day and quit smoking all on Jan 1st. I didn't want to burst his bubble or crush his enthusiasm. He was so excited! I knew he wanted to feel better and be healthier and I wanted to support him. I told him if it were me I'd start with one thing, maybe one daily exercise session and then add things once exercising was a habit. It only takes 21 days to create a habit.

He assured me he had a plan and he knew would be successful. Going from no exercise at all to twice daily, and healthy eating from a junk food diet and heavy smoking to being super healthy and motivated was going to be easy. I was routing for him. These changes were really important on a many levels.

I'm a huge believer in keeping "overwhelm" and "guilt" in check. I knew intuitively he was not going to be able to do ALL THAT at once. And... not doing what you say you really want creates more guilt, leading you right back to those bad habits. "Tomorrow I'll start" becomes your mantra, as you fill yourself with food and substances that you feel bad about doing afterwards.

This week pick an important area of your life. Make it something you think about a lot already and take one small step towards making it happen. If you want to pray and meditate daily, wake up in the morning 5-15 minutes earlier or do it before bed. If you are a social bunny and need to get out, make monthly dates with friends. Make the arrangements you need to make that happen.

One of my priorities is to feel good. Making small changes over time can make you feel better, and give you a sense of competence and confidence. Don't make "tomorrow I'll start" your mantra! I may just read Gretchen's "the Happiness Project" again and start step by step next year.

What small step will you do this week to create more happiness? I am here for you! I want you to feel good. Watch out...sharing it and writing it down will help make it happen.

Weekly Mantra ~ I Have A Spiritual Posse I Can Call On Whenever I Need Help www.tatianascavnicky.com

I love this image of Mother Mary. She is one of the beings of my Spiritual Team. I rely on her, Archangel Michael my bad-ass archangel, Pele the Hawaiian volcano goddess as well as others that are my peeps from Beyond. I have Buddha all over my house...pictures, statues and Kuan Yin, the Eastern Goddess of love, compassion and mercy...who is called the Mother Mary of the East. I have a Divine Masculine/ Feminine concept of God. I call it G G.

It's easy to think you have to do it all by yourself down to earthly responsibilities and manifesting what you want, a spiritual practice in and of itself. Praying and allowing help from your Spiritual Posse nurtures the feeling that we are not alone. Something way bigger than we are...whatever you call it has our back.

Iyanla Vanzant on a Super Soul Sunday episode said she has three essential prayers.
*Help
*Help Me
*Help Me Now

Relying on your Higher Power doesn't mean not taking any action. It means we allow something Bigger and our Spiritual Posse help us connect to a solution or method we may have never thought of, before making rash decisions, or because we feel like nothing is happening yet. We can co-create together. I don't know about you but it feels really good to me to know I am not alone.

Enjoying the weekly mantras? I hope so. Please feel free to share them and talk to me in the comments below.

Have a beautiful week!
XoTatiana
