Now and then the light wakes us up. Everything is right and good in the world and we simply wake up feeling like we've won a prize. We transport to a dimension where life's troubles fade away literally into light, not a single hint of stress in sight. Those bright mornings are lucky. Hopefully we still yearn for them. They magically seem to attract more goodness. We take some of that light when we see it in another, maybe even steal it for ourselves.
We do not yearn for troubled times. We don't ask for feelings of grief and vulnerability. Usually we aren't looking to be hurt to learn things about ourselves, but the shadow will take us straight down to the core.
You could get lost in another person's story, and fall in love their shadow. Intrigued by their light and dark, soulful eyes pull you in. I don't know about you but I would like to be led and guided by someone who has walked in the dark a lot. Someone who has survived the good, bad and ugly. Someone who has been to hell and back... and survived. That's how you become a bad ass. I trust wild, bright, knowing and serene eyes. I trust the experience of those who have gone before me, those who can light their own lamps. I didn't trust it when I was younger, but my innocent eyes couldn't yet see in the dark.
I see a story in my eyes now. I give refuge to that girl who felt she had to claw and fight for everything she had, like many. I wrap my arms around the part of me that feels righteous anger and trembles with sheer powerlessness. She deserves sanctuary too and a warm soft bed to lay her head. Even jealousy and envy is a sign of a fierce personal desire and want. Hopefully light will lead to that, but how would you know if your shadow hadn't said so?
May your lamp burn bright in the light...and in the dark.

The upcoming Aries new moon on April 7th, and start of Spring delivers a super-charged blend of fresh and fiery energy. Time to get your groove back. Believe that things do turnaround, because they do all the time. What do you really need to make a go of it?
Sometimes we can't go away for awhile to think things over, or getaway to reset and recharge. Using mantras and music work. Great songs make us jump out of the chair! Inspiration makes us say, that is what I am talking about! That's what I need!
Don't Stop Believing is one of the tunes I cover. Every time I sing it, the whole place goes crazy. They sing the words along with me. We want to believe. We need to believe. Singing is mantra with melody.
If you have been discouraged, know you are being watched over by the powers-that-be. Did you know your Angels, and your Spiritual team cannot help unless you ask? They won't intervene on your free will...they can't. So ask away. Ask for help. Use this week's powerful, mojo-making mantra, and watch how things start to turnaround...and don't stop believing.

It is my mission to turn the high beam of sweet love your way. No matter where you are, in or out of relationship, the weekend demands bodacious and thrilling Love Day treats, take-aways, and super Self-Lovedom. It might even require a tantrum...a magic love-releasing of sorts. Whatever you need, this is your chance to give it to yourself like it should be given.
The Do's
#1 Make a date for the weekend
This year Sunday is Love Day. Reserve the whole weekend if you can. Go out with the girls or the guys. Get out. Go dancing and live it up. Set the intention to have the best time ever and you will.
Execute "Operation Loveness". A home-sweet-home date might just be the best, and exactly what you need right now. Invite a friend or two of your special besties and slumber party it. If you like to slumber long and alone in your bed, invite them for a cozy dinner, drinks and a movie. Give them a coffee and send them home warmly into the night.

Spending the night alone could be your definition of blissed out. Go all-out for you. Order out and have it delivered. Spread furry blankets and (safely) light candles. Have a pitcher of water, wine or margaritas etc. at arms reach but do not drive. Get really good chocolate, or have a cake made for you with exactly what you want it to say on top. Watch a good girl movie or a season of your favorite show.
Have a long conversation with a friend over skype and share a cocktail, coffee or glass of wine together. Reminisce about all the great times you have had together. Express the deep love you will always have for your dearest friends, no matter what is going on in life. They are definitely lifetime gems to be grateful for. Your besties are forever.
#2 Adorn Yourself
Going out for the night? Dress up! Dress hot! Do your make-up and wear those special shoes. Look in the mirror before you go and tell yourself you are fabulous, because you are. Wear your favorite crystals, jewelry and live it up. Consider calling a cab, limo or having a designated driver for the night.
If you decide to be the goddess-queen of your lair, wear some sensual, beautiful clothing that sings sexy-lounging. Do not throw on your usual sack-out sweats. Pick something beautiful that feels good against your skin, and makes you feel beautiful inside and out. Wear lipstick, some brand new silky soft pants or a pretty comfortable loose sweater. Which brings me too...Gifts.
#3 Give Yourself Gifts
This is the weekend to:
-Get your nails done alone or with friends
-Book a spa day alone or with your Besties
-Take a trip to visit a friend
-Buy yourself an "extravagant" gift
-Of course have flowers delivered to Ms. Loveness
-Buy a new outfit to wear for going out and dancing
-Buy a new robe or lounge wear that screams how deserving you are of this queenly treatment
-Wear lipstick
The Don'ts
#1 Do not go out to a couples kind of restaurant by yourself, and look at couples who seem to be having the best time together. Perhaps if you could really see the truth of the relationship, their issues and all the fights they've been in, you would choose to be single.
#2 Do not meet your friends and have too many drinks, drive home and/or make yourself sick. This is your time to rule, not hurl.
#3 Do not look at pictures of your ex, the two of you together, or look them up on Facebook. In fact seriously consider burning most of those old photos if not all of them. Have a Love-Burning (safely please) in honor of your new Ms. Loveness status.
#4 Do not time travel to the dimension of the past or allow yourself to ache over what most likely was not the relationship you were supposed to be in.
I have a feeling sister, that this just might be one of the very best Valentine's celebrations you have ever had. Being good to yourself, visiting and cherishing friends and special people in your life that you do love, adds more power to your love beam, making you super-irresistible. Partners that let you down and just didn't work because they couldn't commit (wouldn't commit) or put their work first, or expected you to be superwoman so they could keep playing outside, or the ones that betrayed you simply cannot exist in this kind of love realm. If you keep treating yourself like this, you will be able to spot them from a mile away. Loving yourself first changes everything.

The image above is from a set of photos I took at Old Airport Beach in Kona, Hawaii recently. Finally touching down and acclimating to the time change and El Nino heat, I found my way to one of favorite spots. When I lived on the Island, I wrote there a lot in my journal while sipping coffee and taking in the ocean. Captured by the coming sunset each shot took on the changing qualities of light. I caught the emerging glow.
This week's mantra is a bit different. I was inspired to write a poem. I hope it touches you. Feel free to let me know and share it with someone who may need it. Hope your week glows...

Feel time's stretch in a moment of being.

It's going to be your year. You are already awesome, capable, talented, beautiful and ever oh-so-deserving of what you want. The image above is where I sat in August at one of my favorite places on Earth, Honaunau the City of Refuge. Legend says " The pu-uhonua (places of refuge, literally meaning 'hill of earth' ) offered more than physical protection. It was a sanctuary of supernatural power." Find out more about why this place is so mystically charged. I feel the presence of the Divine Feminine there. The Goddess Pele is the Hawaiian Mother Creatress Volcano Goddess. That's the chair I sat in. I wrote what I wanted to let go of and create in a special notebook. It is said that you cannot take lava, sand or shells from the island. I was careful to shake my notebook free of sand but when I got home, a few grains came back with me in the plastic that covered the notebook. I don't feel bad about it. It was supposed to come back with me. When I hold it, I know this notebook and everything that is written down in it, is powerfully charged and blessed.
In the wee hours of Friday morning, I just wanted to jump over the threshold and say bye-bye!! No deep inventory of who, what, when, where, why... just bye. How did you feel? My mantra prescription last week was pick 1-3 things you to create this year. What did you pick? Sharing your intentions brings energy and power to what you want. Do you have an absolute #1 thing? One of my top things is 100% Health & Vitality!
Because you are one of my peeps, I already know you are about the business of keeping your vibration high, using your intuition and following the path of your inner wisdom. You were sent here to leave your sprinkles and sparkles of magic, and leave your merry mark here on the planet.
Time to choose ( if you wish) where you'll put and keep your attention. You know that feeling you get when you are coming down with a little something? It's a bummer when that happens but that "is" your intuition sending a message from your body. You know what you need. And the beautiful thing is we get signs from the big "U" all the time, like animal or number signs that keep popping up.
One huge message and gift all wrapped into one is something that someone else has that you are envious of. Your envy is a root of your desire. So decide "Yes I shall have "___________" that for myself. I am ready!" If you wish, take it a step further and ask, "How can I make that happen?" Then let go. Every morning state your intention. You'll be amazed at the opportunities, signs and coincidences that appear.
You might even want to get yourself a special magical notebook like mine to write affirmations, intentions and desires in. Write down your weekly mantra and quotes that hit you.

It's amazing what happens once you state your desires and intentions. The big"U" just has to set it up. I created going on tour playing my music down to the how much I was paid, and the kinds of events and rooms I performed at. I also manifested being within a half hour of the airport. When I lived in Kona, Hawaii I was literally ten minutes away.

I feel as if I've been walking between worlds. This rare Cancer Full Moon falling on Christmas is a lovely and deep call back to coming home to yourself. The soulmate crystal in the image above below the candle represents connecting to your soul and the needs of your soul. The selenite heart crystal under the cards is the soft, sensual nurturing energy of this moon. The stars represent the cosmic shift available for us right now! A huge shift has already begun deep in our subconscious minds. You may have already felt yourself connecting to a flow very easily and harmoniously available to you now....like walking in between worlds.
☽ Dream Big
The mermaid sleeps her peacefully. The ocean represents our subconscious mind where all patterns begin and end. The band of white light between the sky and water is the in-between place of creation...the place between the Divine and the world-Earth plane. Trust the feeling of knowing how to connect to this place at will. Trust the feeling of relying on yourself. Trust your feelings especially the ones now that call you home...that make you feel good inside. Feel the "feels" as they say. Let feelings of comfort, security and love find a place deep within your bones, belly and body. The all of the sudden you may just feel yourself slip right into your soul. As we feel we create. Affirmations + positive thinking + feeling our way to what we want is the key.
The wonderful thing about this full moon is it's easy to do so. Love encompasses all good feelings and we are celebrating that around the world today. Let love be your guiding force to the vision you have for the future.
☽ Stay Optimistic
Be ready for a total alchemical shift in the areas of reacting to old dramas in relationships. The key is there if you so desire it. Feel it in your body and less as a mental or conversational strategy. Milky orange clouds hover above a castle in the distance. A mermaid a feminine creature sits in shallow water as if she has already come up from the watery depths of creation. The future is so close! The orange clouds represent the color of passion and what we deeply want....what we ache for.
The vision shown here symbolizes what you want for the coming year. Be ready for a total alchemical shift in the areas if the areas if relationships and reacting to old dramas. Vicious cycle of arguments that go absolutely nowhere are completely clear. It can be easier now to walk away and wait, or not get hooked into how the other person is reacting.
In view of what you want for next year ask yourself what beliefs call you home? Home is calling. The need to prioritize home, family and what our hearts really want is important and at the forefront now. Many are questioning being away from home and family now, while figuring how to balance loved ones and work.

Our beautiful mother-mermaid lets us know that we are so loved. Our loved ones and possessions are safe and protected. World events have caused us to question our safety and how we feel about those who need safety and home now around the world. You may have felt compelled to pray for the world. Many are meditating, seeing the world surrounded by light and angels, and seeing signs of the call to what is really important in life.
This lovely mermaid symbolizes Divine Feminine love. How can you create more of sense of belonging? Who do you belong to? What causes do you belong to? What beliefs call you home and make you feel safe, loved and connected to great All?
