Lay Down Your Roots & Count Your Lucky Stars ~ Libra New Moon Oct. 19th 2017 www.tatianascavnicky.com

Jupiter the planet of fortunate blessings beams optimism, wealth, opportunity and big-picture vision for a bright future during this Libra New Moon. As I write, a Red-Tailed Hawk calls from my backyard. Hawks as totems, are related to the new moon (I love the synchronicity!) and to fall. It's a supreme messenger bird giving you visionary information for your life purpose. It comes to say, "Your prayers are being answered. Recognize, own and share your gifts." 

Red-Tail Hawk represents the first chakra, or root chakra. When you are right at the roots, everything lines up. The red root chakra is the bioenergy center of your feet, legs, lower abdomen and back. It rules tribal energy and the beliefs we were raised with, as well as money and abundance, and feeling safe and secure. Expect healing from the ground up! We went into hyper-drive mode August 21st at the Leo New Moon - Total Solar Eclipse and continues. We are still in the midst of that cosmic portal of change.

And this Libra New Moon comes with two very fortunate lucky stars! Can you feel it? Let's see what the cards have to say... 

☽ Protection
Two regal swans protect a lovely white goddess. Yet again, the cards accurately represent the moon phase. A new moon rises above her left shoulder, our feminine side, from where we receive, feel and intuit energy from. I shuffle the deck I use for readings, at least seven times, until they tell me to stop. When I am giving a reading, I am often asked, "Who are they?" They are who I call on at the beginning of every reading. My prayer is, "Dear God/dess, archangels, ancestors, ascended masters and all manner of light beings, I ask that you continue to make me a perfect channel. Whatever messages, guidance or healing that (the person I am reading) needs to get, that they receive it. So you, my dear are receiving this reading, and all the prayers and divining that came along with it.

Swans represent Winter, and the awakening of our true, authentic beauty and power. Because it is one of the most ancient animal totems, it is a calling for us to rise up and step into our true power. True power is graceful, open, generous, able and strong. These graceful and regal birds represent the child, dreamer and mystic, and are connected to the goddess of love, Aphrodite. Whispers of previous lifetimes and pivotal past lives may already be calling you to reclaim your spiritual inheritance and gifts. Were you a medicine man or woman, shaman/shamaness, healer, priest/priestess or witch? If the word "witch" scares you, it may be that you were punished and maybe even killed for being a wise women. Witches worked with folk magic, or earth magic. They knew the healing properties of herbs and roots, and energetic healing techniques. Their original image and purpose was distorted much later by the patriarchy to be dark and maleficent, and you know the other word. In fact men were allowed in many cases to continue to practice as sorcerers, and work as high ranking people in high courts, as scribes and advisors.

The point is you are leveling up, coming into alignment and being called to do what you came here to do. The mystic is being called to the mountain, retreat and meditation pillow. The healer is called to get a medical degree or pursue a certification. The astronomer to divine and name the stars, and the matchmaker to match. Third eyes are waking up everywhere, making you intensely more sensitive to the energy of people, places and things. If you are having issues with that, it might be time to have a session together. There are definite ways you can protect your vibration. A beautiful maiden's veil appears to represent Libra, the keeper of the scales of balance and justice. Pure intentions bring harmony and balance within. Purity of mind, body and spirit creates union. Lean into that because there will be unexpected surprises during this lunation. Huge changes that began back in August at the Total Solar Eclipse continue. Her gaze is focused and intense. Flowers on either side of her veil are Libra's scales. Are you making good choices? For me, life has felt chaotic but rich with goodness, creativity and inspiration. I have SO been called! My dear if everyday is like groundhog day, it's time. Are you longing for something to sink your teeth and your soul into? If you know what it is, go for it. When fear comes in the guise of overwhelm, just take it step by step. When things are going wrong, they just might be going right. We are not in charge and don't have control of everything. That's a hard pill to swallow for a virgo-sun, gemini-rising. Something much greater and oh so magnificent has our back. There really are no words to even describe it. Purify your focus and take the opportunity of this new moon, to get to the heart of what is true for you at this time and what you really want to create and call in now. New moons are for creating my dear.



☽ Healing
Watch out for doing too much that you run yourself ragged. It is very important to shield and protect your energy at this time, especially if you are just beginning to claim the powerful intuitive gifts you were born with. You came here with something to do and share, and we are counting on it. Limit your time in negative places and with negative people. Even though Halloween is just around the corner, lock your energy up tight from energy vampires. Pains in your shoulders and neck are often energetic cords of attachment from mothers, sisters and female friends, especially on the left side. Issues swept under the rug in relationship that we may have been keeping the peace for, may come out and erupt. This is all types of partnerships, personal and business.

Great healing aspects come with this new moon's rise. As I said earlier, refine your self-care routine or stick tight with what is working for you. You have changed a lot! We are still downloading so much as spiritual beings. When you pray you are downloading direct messages. Some of these are too big to comprehend, because if you knew what Spirit had in store for you, you might totally freak out! Or not believe it, preventing this miracle to happen for you and your life, because you couldn't believe it could happen. Stay balanced and true to yourself.

We look to a future of love, light and hope. The Pink Full Moon was named by northern Native American tribes, representing the herb moss pink, foretelling the awakening of Spring. Impulsive and reckless Aries brings wildcard energy joining forces with cosmic rebel Uranus, shaking things up across the globe. We are growing exponentially. Jupiter aligned with Libra turns everything it touches to gold and sprinkles the sky with streams of joy and good fortune. 

☽ Freyja ~ Bold
Freyja is a Norse goddess of love and war. Named in her honor, she rules Friday. Her presence here embodies the fiery Aries energy alive and at play now. There will be power struggles in relationships. Intense emotions can stir up arguments. Beware of temper tantrums and mood swings. We want to have a good time and revel in the expansive and optimistic Libra energy, but try not go overboard, party too hard or do something rash. 


Freyja reflects the new ideas and creative expansion of this lunar phase. The future is calling. What we are called to do is calling us. We can see our talents and abilities in a new light. We have our own special something to give to the greater good and our special sauce is like no other. Be confident. Own your gifts and talents. On the flip side you might be asking why am I here? Daredevil energy makes us restless to expand even if we don't know where we are going. The direction is the future. Be excited. Expect things to change and they will. ☽ Compassion
Libra seeks to create balance and harmony in relationships and the Collective. This Full Moon invites us to create sacred sanctuary within so we can extend ourselves to others. If you are watching the news, you very well could be taking on that energy, as if staying up-to-date politically can help in some way. Toxic energy drains us energetically, spiritually and in some cases physically. Have compassion for how you feel and at the same time keep the faith! Lean into joy. We have the power to rise above. Try not to be bitter and cynical. Get out of the left lane when someone is right on your a$$. Wish them well and cruise on the sunny side of life. Avoid arguments with loved ones to keep a happy home.


The elemental fairy in this card is praying. She wants release. Our shadow might make an appearance this lunation as really old wounds are coming up to be healed.This has been a theme as-of-late. We are again talking karmic and past life relationships.  A recent breakup might just be a blessing in disguise. Don't turn a blind eye to red flags in regards to potential love relationships now. Who are you allowing to be in your life? Honor the energy you have and who you want to share it with. 

If you are feeling victimized, it's time to turn the tables. As much as I have hated to hear this in the past, look for your part in an unhealthy dynamic. Do some journaling around how these issues reflect your childhood. See a good therapist to help you connect the dots. 



☽ Oonagh ~ Easy Does It
Personally we have the power to crack the whip and change habits. It takes less than a month to change something. This is a time of learning to let go at a really fast rate. Lightening speed in fact. Reboot your software, but Rome wasn't built in a day. It might feel like you just can't do what you used to. Venus who is also Aphrodite, is still working her beautify life, practice self-love magic and financial make-over mojo. If things aren't happening as fast as you would like, be patient and press play. Life's simple pleasures are treasures. An afternoon in the sun can soothe soul. Lunch with friends can cure a lonely spell. You might feel a bit lonely during this Full Moon so be sure to socialize and spend time with friends.


Oonagh supports the pursuit of happiness and higher missions now. Who and what are you devoted to? What makes your heart sing? I always say, these don't have to be huge things like creating a nonprofit or foundation for children in need. COSMIC FIRE & CELESTIAL AMMO ~ Aries Full Moon/Super Moon October 16th 2016 www.tatianascavnicky.com

A fiery and passionate Aries Full Moon~Super Moon will burn bright across the sky. You might see the ethereal flames. Little King, the Royal Star of the Lion and Uranus the planet of genius and individuality activate the need for freedom and dynamic change! We simply cannot ignore it. What worked for you in 2016 and what didn't? This month's shifts are a preview and foretelling of 2017. It's exciting! Use this revolutionary fire but be careful as Aries can make us move too fast and impulsively. Here is what the cards have to say...

☽ Freedom
The moon is aligned with Uranus the planet of inner-genius, rebellion and freedom. Our individuality can feel as if it's at stake here, like it's do-or-die time, or as if all bets are off if some kind of change isn't made now. This is just the revolutionary vibe of this full moon. Use it to your advantage. Bottle it. Watch it boil. Let it ferment. Think on it. Tweak your game plan altogether and revamp.

My goddesses. The warrior Goddess aspect is at play here not the supreme nurturer. You may feel unappreciated and angry. It's definitely time to pursue your passions and self-care. WE simply cannot be all things to all people or even ourselves. We also have personal limits and boundaries to honor. 

Full moons are for releasing and letting go. This moon will rouse up your rebel feelings in the form of impulsiveness and being reckless. Relationship issues and arguments around this time as well as feelings of jealousy may come up. Be watchful of your need to be right. ☽ Awakening
Picture this. A room completely in shambles as if there has been a robbery. It's your room. In a tantrum of anger and rage you literally destroyed it and everything must be put back together. But it all looks old and dirty and as if all the stuff is someone else's. It's actually easy to throw away all this sh#t. So you dive in and put it all into the trash and it feels satisfying and right.

The good new is you don't have to do this to yourself or your room. More good news hypothetically after it's all cleaned up, organized and the muck in the bottom is gone, a new and beautiful room capable of energetically holding your new ideas (papers and projects) and your new happy state of mind (cause it's so beautiful) and energy (young and fresh) surrounds the new you. Sometimes things have to fall apart (and we just might do that all on our own this weekend), to be able to be container for the new.

This imaginary tantrum scenario is the way it might possibly feel at this time for many. They are just sick and tired of things not happening like they want. "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore." Or it feels like being really stuck and very emotional about it. The emotions have energy. Thoughts like every time I tried, it failed or it didn't work out. Or every person I've ever been involved with has not been supportive of me and I couldn't trust them. I'll never have the kind of partnership or life I want. These thoughts create beliefs. Beliefs can be shifted. A rebel-rising up of consciousness is in order. A quantum leap. 

Rebellion is not going with the grain and deciding to freely think and create for yourself. Decide what kind of energy do I want to be pulsing through my mind, heart, energy and brains? It might be time to ask for help. I repeat. For sure it's time to create boundaries. 




☽ Find The Current Blessing In Your Current Situation
The blue light surrounding Krishna is the aura of infinity, what is immeasurable. He represents bringing down the infinite to this world and makes it finite, another way of saying "as above so below" or "on earth as it is in heaven". Sometimes we cannot see or measure in the earth-time what we have asked for and desire to be made manifest on this plane. There is a higher law running all of it. 

The full moon is the time to contemplate the mystery of it all. Take the opportunity to forgive for yourself to unbind yourself from the past. Being willing to let go so we can allow our wishes to come true. The letting go is the part that gets messed up because we want it and we want it now. The allowing and receiving is a truly important piece. Some things are for you and some are not. Or they are not for you yet because something way bigger and more amazing is still being created.

*Write down the emotional junk you have been carrying. 

Ask yourself...

What is slowing you down?
What is affecting you from the past?
What do you really want to let go of?
What character traits do I wish to be healed and transformed?
What beliefs about yourself and life do you want to say "See Ya!" to and"Bye!! ?

*Feel deeply as you write these things down. Know that their release is a natural part of communing with the moon. Feel that positive expectation and trust running through you. The Universe has heard your intention. 

*Finish with, "This or something better for the greater good of all. Thank you" All prayers are answered.


We are awakening now intensely since the Black Moon Lilith in Libra  and Mars in Capricorn the sign of goals and organization, a forward motion has begun. Black Moon Lilith ~Libra New Moon Sept. 30th /Oct.1st 2016 www.tatianascavnicky.com

A super-feminine Black Moon gives us yet another chance in September to plant the seeds of our desires. Black moons as they are called are when there are two new moons in a month. The balance of me and we is at hand and heart. Lilith, kicked out of the Garden of Eden for refusing to lay underneath Adam brings light to the shadow of repressed desires and the pursuit of equality and justice. Sometimes we have to fight for creative and personal freedom and this black moon can show us where and how. And it's worth it.

☽ Mawu
Our first card signifies the Mother Goddess, the ultra-feminine energy of this new moon. Believed to have created all life, Mawu is an African Moon Goddess of natural laws and passion. Her ritual invocation was the sacred act of lovemaking, then seeds were planted in her honor. 

Life is created in the womb, in the void. Often the words on the cards do not always apply to the reading. The image here is at the forefront. Mawu is sun and moon goddess who holds the Earth. She is also a goddess of joy signifying Jupiter entering Libra. How is your world off balance? 

Where are you giving your power away in your world? Where have you been a doormat? Where are you carrying anger or resentment? Have you crushed the fierce beauty of your sexuality, fearing it might make others uncomfortable? Lilith rebel rouses for equality and justice. She is a freedom fighter going against the grain to find her own fierce independence. 

Your jealousy and envy are nuggets of gold. These are shadow gifts. Look to where you are jealous or envious of other women and even men. Your envy of someone else's time to be able to go on vacation, or get to the spa or yoga is sign to do that for yourself. ASAP!

Lilith also represents the repressed side of the feminine. A patriarchal culture has shunned a natural, unstoppable, and adept force of woman, her intuition. Women were burned at the stake for being intuitive or for being witches and because they aroused sexual desire in men. Women are often called bitches, if they are not always nice or to characterize how they run a successful business. They're called selfish because they've committed to a calling or because they take time to treat themselves like the goddesses they are.  

Sometimes you have to be tough and not give a flying f**k if you have offended someone. I was once in a band where a guy drummer told me I had a huge ego because I am a natural-born performer and front person. He was intimidated by my strength and talent. I did not shrink. 

This new moon gives space for letting go of troubling emotions. Face your shadow and all the emotions that come with that. You can't spray perfume over s**t. You've got to clean it up and face what you don't want to deal with. What habits are dimming down your life force? How does the habit make you feel? Find another way to create it. Get support. 

What emotions come up or patterns continually in personal relationships? Perhaps now you can see the truth about yourself, your flaws, your imperfections, where you have been terrible to yourself and to others. Embrace your pain. Acknowledge your journey. Welcome the parts of you that have walked the valley of death, the treacherous parts of life. Give them comfort. A place to rest, heal and be vulnerable. Welcome them home to safety and refuge. 

This moon phase truly allows for a full dismantling of what you have been trying to let go of. That little still small intuitive voice gently urging since August's end/September's beginning...whispering all you have to do is decide. How beautiful life would be?  

☽ Isolt
Time to beautify your life and your body as Libra is ruled by the Goddess of Love & Beauty Venus/Aphrodite. The image of Isolt personifies her here. Wear beautiful things. Be good to your body. Put flowers around the house and welcome the joy of life in. Be good to yourself. Be loving. Bring sensuality to everyday.

Good fortune planet Jupiter entered Libra September 9th bringing love, light and expansion to our relationships. Is there evidence of love and harmony? Cultivate common goals with your beloved. Allow love, peace and joy in. Libra shines a light on how we come together with others with peace and the power flowing within that.  

Some of you might be looking at the glass ceiling of your love life and also of current friendships. Maybe you can't go any further with a beloved because they have refused to grow or see and honor your growth. Maybe your transformation is threatening. Perhaps you are just seeing it for the first time. Or you can see where you have not been compassionate or fair.

Does it scare you to allow love, harmony and balance in relationship? This would be an element of the shadow. Where does it come from? Trace it back. See that you are not that person now.

Fall Equinox is here represented by the cornucopia of blessings. Jupiter brought expansion and abundance symbolized here in the form of Norse goddess Abundantia of prosperity and success of time, opportunites and money. As the 10th month of the year, October is also a 1 month in numerology.

1 + 0 = 10 reducing to 1. 
2016 is a 9 year, a year of completion. 
2+0+1+6 = 9

1 signifies the beginning.

This is a potent time to look at what your goals are for the next 6 months, especially between now and the end of the year. What has been a distraction? What is keeping you from the kind of day you'd like to have? Are the weekends getting away from you? Spreading yourself thin will chip away at your energy. 

What is working and getting results in business? Where are you making progress? Create an overarching intention, a vision now at the time of the new moon. The second one this month at that!! You might take a look at your new moon intentions created on the Virgo Solar Eclipse on the 1st. Does anything need tweeking? 

Don't be afraid to take time to make decisions. Choosing to not decide is still a choice and can feel right. 

Embrace love, light and joy now especially as we move into October. Know that all manner of abundance is available to you. Love yourself. Love all of you. Don't deny the shadow parts of yourself and all that you have learned from life so far. I often say I want to learn from those who have had to deal with real life tragedy and how they pulled themselves out of the wreckage. How victimized and justifiably resentful people decide to forgive and move on to save their own souls, their suffering and story becoming the medicine that heals them. That's warrior my friends.
